Co op Ai not appearing when in a group with friends. | Forums

Ok so when playing with my friend today the AI did not appear. It was only two of us. Aren't you supposed to have 4 people in your squad at all times? Wether it's 2 real players and 2 AI? I am trying to figure out if this was a bug or I am doing something wrong. Thanks.

I want to know if this is intended or indeed a bug. I played with my brother last night, it's kind of difficult to play as 2 man group. However, if it's intended well, maybe my brother and I can work something out, I guess.

Funny thing is, my brother whose nomad's female, and me, male Nomad, still do banter with Holt and Weaver. I can hear and see my Nomad speak, my brother's Nomad voice (female voice) and Holt's yet it's only two of us in sight, no friendly AI to be seen lol. My brother said the conversation was done through radio. xD

It's supposed to be that way. The way they see it, a second human is about as good as 3 AI so when playing co-op it's just you guys.

Give me one human over 100 ai. The ai is almost useless. They fire as crap you don't want them to fire at. Don't keep up at your pace. Can't drive you anywhere. Don't fire effectively at targets on foot. (Put them in an APC and they're demolition crews) don't shut up about jokes. (Which are nice but there's a time and place)

So tell me again why you want ai when you're playing co op?

I'll rather have a bit more enemies, and have the extra ai squad teammates. As they drag attention in combat sometimes, if you die you have two extra to resurrect you, they actually mark random enemies that you haven't seen, they do kill enemies every now and then.
