Ports are TCP 80,443,3088,14000,14008,14020-14024,13000,13005,13200 UDP are 3074-3083 (apparently)
my router automatically sets a static IP for my computer, i ported all those ports and ported them to my computer's IP the ports are allowed through my fire wall, upnp is enabled and everything, still a "strict" nat type. had the same issue in the open beta

You will either need UPNP or turn your router to bridged mode

If you do this, make sure you got some sort of software firewall in your computer, or you system and data can and will be compromised as your computer will be totally open for any sort of attack from the internet.

Thank you for the additional advice synsyyty, but this was also one of the things my friend helped me do, and still I can't get anything but offline and occasionally moderate.
Also I just want to point out, I couldn't care less if I was on moderate or open, when I am able to play with a friend, it's on moderate and I don't have any issues at all.

Also if it's anything of interest, when working through things with my friend, at one point we reset my router, and while it was resetting, and made my computer went completely offline, my NAT status went from offline to strict. I am beginning to think this is an issue that I am just going to have to wait for Ubisoft to fix, which is sad because as we see, they didn't show much interest in fixing this issue when it was pointed out in the open beta.

upnp is turned on, and i'm not putting my router/modem into bridged mode again, it literally broke my internet

    Don't bother

Don't even bother with this, you will just sit in a que for two hours just to talk to someone through a chat bubble, just to have them refer you to the exact same link he posted. Why the hell is it so hard to get help from you Ubisoft? I (and others, clearly) have issues with our game, so don't just sit around and circle jerk, actually try to help us!

    Okay FIXED
No thanks to Ubisoft's tech support, and Lauren S, who ditched me when the problem was nowhere near solved and not only kept Wildlands broken for me but actually cause a lot of other problems on my computer.

    SOLUTION:
Okay so I found with my friends help, that changing my router to bridge mode, then running windows troubleshooting on my internet a few times fixed the NAT problem entirely. However doing that made my WIFI completely useless, so I had to change that back. What we found worked better was to start DMZ hosting on my computer. Be careful though, this leaves the computer much more vulnerable to hacking if you browse sketch sites from what I understand. Right now because I am also running a wifi that is busy in my house, my computer keeps disconnecting from the internet completely and my router will restart randomly at times. However some of that is much worth being able to fix the crappy NAT system issues. Port forwarding, static networking and other methods that helped many other failed for me, so if you're in the same boat I am willing to bet one of these will work for you.

Right now I have some annoying issues with my internet and some computer program issues, but that's mostly due to spending so much time on Ubisoft tech support listening to Lauren S as she slowly damages programs on my computer more and more. If Ubisoft had created a game that worked at launch to begin with, my computer would still be running great and I wouldnt need to do DMZ hosting to play with a friend.

Agreed, but if you wanna play the game, Ubisoft doenst give enough of a crap to fix it themselves obviously so you gotta do it yourself. Or if you're lucky enough to have not bought the game yet, I would hold off until ubisoft gets their **** together and stops wiping each others asses with the nearest pine cone.

I am in Australia , our major telco here introduced nbn (fibre ) nationally , they gave me a nbn router that also supply's wifi to there customer through my router (telstra air) ... **** that i said to them build a tower !!! i told them i did not want this option when i signed up but they just do it anyway , so i disabled it in router and in my acc ( but they keep updating the router and enabling it ) When this telstra air is enabled it restrict's port access to router for safety and i would get mod NAT , when its disabled i get open . No one in there support could help me with this i worked it out for myself maybe you have the the same thing . it started again for me so i checked router and it had been enabled again ...
