So this was an issue in the open beta that Ubisoft was completely ignoring. I thought it was just open beta so they would keep the tons of complaints I saw into account and fix it so the game is even playable with friends, but no I guess they're that arrogant. I have tried to contact customer support, but Ubisoft seems content with a lack of people to respond the the customers experiencing issues with their games and have huge que times I am currently navigating. Also I tried to search the forums for a solution and either Ubisoft is taking down people's plead's for help, or the forum is just so overtly broken that it will only turn up an error screen whenever I search anything in the search boxes.
My NAT status is completely random when opening a game. Some times it will be moderate, and I can play the game with my friend, but it seems most of the time its offline. Sometimes when I leave the game open to try to find help from Ubisoft (lol) and by the time I reopen the game it changes to moderate. I have had my friend who is in a CISCO class help me and he tried a lot of crazy stuff, including changing some sort of connection from open to bridge and creating a whole bunch of IPV4 ports, still nothing is changing. Ubisoft, if you respond please don't post the copy/paste bs messages that ask me to restart my router.
Please if anyone has found a fix to this let me know so I can try it. Also Ubisoft, please make a functional game at launch. I know it's this new cool trend among all your friends like EA, but please, don't do it. I have serious reservations on ever getting another Ubisoft game if this is seriously how you decide to launch a game, and then ignore customers who can't get it to work.
Port map your router/modem , wildlands uses port 3088 and 3074 UDP , easy to do just follow instructions , https://support.ubi.com/en-gb/Faqs/0...ildlands-on-pc
Nicely done, Gr8ssY! And thank you for helping out! Yeah, FakingSkill, check out the FAQ that Gr8ssY and linked and let me know if it helps resolve your issue.
Thank you for the suggestion, I tried that with my friend and it didn't help at all.
Thanks for giving the FAQ a try, but sorry to hear it didn't resolve your problem. If you haven't gotten in touch with our Support team, I definitely recommend doing so. They'll be happy to help you get to the bottom of this issue.Originally Posted by FakingSkill Go to original post
I've sent both an email and I'm waiting in chat. Seems like there is not enough people to deal with it and after almost an hour of waiting there is still 103 people ahead of me in line, and of course the closer you get to getting help the slower progress is, I would be waiting for a very long time until I get help which from my experience is very shotty and often just tell me to go somewhere else.
I also have been stuck with a "moderate" NAT type after following almost all actions here:
https://support.ubi.com/en-us/faqs/0...ooting-PC-GRW/
(Unable to contact ISP due to time of day.)
playing solo the game runs great.
when joining a coop there is MASSIVE desync.
voice communication is choppy.
and all vehicles rubberband and desync like crazy spazing out all over the place from one end of the screen to the other. quite often other players report my position and enemy positions in entirely different places than where i am and where i am seeing things.
I am concerned as to if and why my ISP would be causing such a massive issue.
Giving my pc a static IP address in my router then opening all the ports they say to use and now NAT says OPEN
@synsyyty: could you please provide a link or description on how to set a static IP address? What do you mean by "all the ports THEY SAY". What are you referencing exactly?
You will have to look up your router make and then search for a "HOW TO" for a static ip mine was in port forwarding>port mapping create a static ip for my pc and ps4 you'll need your mac addressOriginally Posted by Naxxos84 Go to original post
The port opening won't work without a static ip in most cases
Ports are TCP 80,443,3088,14000,14008,14020-14024,13000,13005,13200 UDP are 3074-3083 (apparently)
