    Massive FPS-drop when firing weapons

    Hi,

I have an issue where the FPS drops critically low when firing a weapon.

The game generally runs fairly smooth for me, at around 70-80 fps with fairly high graphics settings, but whenever I fire a weapon it drops below 10!

If I fire a single shot, it drops for about a second, and if I fire continously it stays low until I stop.

I have a i5-3570k, a gtx 1080, 16gb of ram and an ssd for storage, which should be well within the requirements.

Lowering the graphics settings does not seem to make a difference.

Have anyone experienced the same? Any suggestions as to what might fix this?

    Best regards,

    John

Unplug your xbox controller/ third party gamepad/ wireless reciever.
    Shoudl resolve the issue.

I kinda get the feeling ubi wants us to figure out all the hardware bugs ourselves....

Wow! I had a gamepad connected, which was off, but the usb-stick was plugged in the back, and removing it solved my problem! Thank you so much!
