It's nothing like it was in the beta. It was perfect in the beta, so smooth. On release it was bad, but was playable, now I can't get it for the life of me.

They change the guard break to open beta. If you want to practice go to practice mode.

Did they change the timing?

The only difference I noticed is you can now counter if you both went for a GB at the same time, which was a much needed change.

difference between beta and now is huge not only in grab section but thats for another topic, grab now is not that bad just need to adopt/learn but one thing worth mentioning is that NOW if someone has jumpy NAT like from green to red and back, I cant counter grab them AT ALL, never succeeded a counter grab ONLY with players with good stable connection was able to counter grab every single one and that is very annoying....
