Well, I tried open beta to know if my laptop could handle the game, on Low settings I've got stable 40FPS. So I bought the game. Now on same settings I got FPS drops from 40FPS to 2-5FPS rendering the game unplayable. I thought that Beta would have worse performance than full release. Does anyone have the same problem?

I was having the same problem. Frames dropped to 20 FPS and the game choppy and unplayable. I was also getting a notification of Input device detected/connected non stop. I unplugged my Logitech Extreme 3d Pro joystick and the game cleared up. Went back to 60 FPS and smooth playing. Plugged the joystick back in and the game went back to 20 fps and choppy unplayable. Maybe this is causing your issue too.
