Low Tier Raider, Some Constructive Criticism. | Forums

I Raider main and I am at a rep 4+. So as you can imagine I have some expertise here. Raiders biggest issue is his block and attack(light) rate possibly attack(heavy).
Most any class I face against and by this point you can bet I have fought them all against most types of players, but the Raider is just slow in all departments possibly even education who knows. Only thing Raider gots going for him is that he is just shy of some baby oil which we got a feat for that.

Just increase the attack and block rate and only by a little and that would make a difference in his ability to fend off against all the other characters without being completely broken but made fair.

Honestly this would at the very least help us figure out a bit more if that is where he is lacking but me and all I have talked to but will suffice to say most players feel he is slower then everyone except shugoki but shugoki has work arounds.

This would be a minor change at best but may help a lot. Just my two cents and I hope it gets heard.

Also why does the Raider roll slower then the warlord, the raider doesn't have half as much stuff on him. This just makes no sense to me.

I'm Justicator prestige 12, and time to time Raiders gets top score at the end of the match.

Maybe game is not ballanced yet, but skills overcome this.

The Raider is slow because when he hits he hits HARD.

He can throw people the farthest, he hits like a truck and has good range. Giving him any more of a buff would make him the most OP character.

But the thing is, everyone will counter gb, so no throwing. He hits like a truck if he land's a heavy, which is impossible in higher level of play. Just because the fact that everyone will parry you.

So i gotta agree with the op, raider needs a buff. And gladly the devs are looking into it.

The Raider devs made the raider slow because if he hits, which is nearly never in advanced play he hits he hits Averagely.

He can throw people the farthest, but his throws almost never connect. Even his unavoidable zone attack can be parried. He hits like an Orochi and has about the same range as everybody else. He is bottom tier in the entire game, so giving him any more of a buff would make him the most balanced character.
