    Need some Dominion changes!

    Just wanted to throw some ideas out there about changing the dominion game mode. I really enjoy most game modes (except skirmish which is quite honestly trash and brings the game down) but would really like to see some tweaks in the future. The main issue i have with dominion right now is how strong the geared out players are, almost to the point where if you're not geared out at all, there's not much of a point in staying in the game as it will require you and 3 random players to take down an adequate legendary geared player or even epic geared player. They get revenge in about 2-3 blocks and then mass murder everyone with their heavy damage output. I think it really discourages people from trying new heroes and in some cases discourages them from playing the mode at all. I was in a game the other day with a legendary PK, (easily the most overpowered character) and she goes 30-2 while all of us get around her hitting her, she barely loses her health and gets revenge instantly. I'm not a bad player either 2.75KD, but there just isn't much you can do outside of having a shogoki/lawbringer grab/slam her to counter revenge or try and use environment. I think this could really be improved in a couple ways:

    Gear- I'm aware that gear has to give player advantages, and i think that you can still make them strong without making these players juggernauts.

    Revenge Nerf - Reduce either the effectiveness of revenge or what i really would prefer is make it a 2-3minute cooldown, getting revenge 3-4 times in a fight in 2-3 blocks is really just outrageous. The smart players will run around until the geared players lose their revenge, but to get it again in 2hits? really just not fun to play against.

    Matchmaking - If you're hellbent on making the gear and revenge status being outrageously strong, you need to implement a better system of matchmaking, so geared players play against geared players and not based on K/D. Half the time i wanna try a new hero i'm matched up with 90 rated gear scores which would be fine if revenge wasn't broken and they weren't juggernauts.

    Additional Dominion Mode - This could also all be avoided with an additional dominion mode that didn't use gear at all, like the duals, this would allow players to actually use skills to kill other heroes and also give the option to play in either mode.

    No ! When both team are breaking and you find yourself alone against 3-4 player constant revenge give you a % of chance to win if they try to gank you.

    And about dominion mode without gear .Its not gonna work . its gonna be boring and people will flee this mod when they'll realize how boring it this.The whole concept is made out of gears stats.
    - If you like to take flag you will build a strong attakc setup and speed
    -If you like to defend flag you want defense,revenge and fasters feats
    -etc...
    Edit : I can see deathmatch and skirmish without gears stat.But with keeping buffs or aids.

    But usually Revenge already triggers in a 1 on 1 situation. People have built their characters around this and it's getting rediculous.
    Just now I went against a Warlord who'd just block 3-4 strikes and get Revenge. I get it's made to give you a chance against +2 players but it's getting abused.

    Revange during 1 vs 1 situation doesn't mean insta win: in order not to waist revange you should attack, which means - opponent will just run around avoiding all your attacks. Actually, I don't get blocks ussually - ppl tend to parry attacks or dodge it. Warlord revange is not a problem, cause they are designed to counter attacks.

    anyway when you get used to the game more and more .You can see when your opponent is ready to go revenge mod and you stop attacking . retreat or stop throwing attack.Its harder to do than said . But experience player now do this instinctively.

    Don't stack revenge yourself.
    They proc revenge, you feint an R2, they pop it and from there it's just half more health and their done.

    Instead, when you're 3v1 your superior stats will give you the advantage and when your revenge pops you melt faces and restore 1vX balance.

    Oh the bandwagon.

    It really is unbalanced. I'm surprised at some of these responses. I'm not simply complaining because i'm bad and unsuccessful, far from it. It's actually the complete opposite, with my epic geared kensei im destroying 3v1's on a regular basis to the point where people are leaving, and you know what? i don't blame them, i get revenge in two hits and finish them all of like lambs for the slaughter. Lower geared players are at to much of a disadvantage due to the strength and proc time of revenge. 3v1's SHOULD BE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE you should have to strategize a bit more then block two hits and kill everyone.
