Any ETA on the fix for the terrible connection issues in this game? I've been matchmade into 6 games today and had error messages kick me out of 5 and I can safely guarantee that I have been kicked out of 60% of my matchmade games since purchase.
Maybe it's because I haven't bought the season pass or any steel packs
All updates to the game (including upcoming changes when available) will be posted over in the news and announcements threads. We're always looking at connectivity and will continue to work on improvements as we go. Until then, you can also leave us any details regarding how you are connecting and we'll try to help if there are any specific issues. Things like platform, NAT type, wired / wireless etc are all helpful for this. We'll keep everyone posted on future updates.
Thank you for the reply!
I am playing on PC with a wired connection. My NAT type is currently strict, despite my attempts to change it to open by opening the required ports. Whenever I get disconnected with the error message I mainly get the error code 006000018 or 006000039. The game is not being blocked by my firewall or antivirus and I have tried verifying the game files through Steam, but I haven't noticed any changes since doing so. Matchmaking does not usually take long for me but I've noticed that the region and skill requirements always reach "All Regions" and "All Skill Levels" before I find a match. I've also noticed that receiving the error message is a lot more common when playing Dominion.
I hope that any of this information can be of use, although it is most likely things read before.
I really do enjoy this game, so I guess I'll keep charging the errors head on and try game modes that aren't dominion and hopefully not get as many errors.
Thank you again for the reply.
Do NOT enable uPnP, 1.03 patch introduced a problem where it causes immense memory leak with uPnP enabled. Even 16 or 32 gb ram computers drain out of memory before 15 minutes of play and freeze.Originally Posted by Turric4n666 Go to original post
I only have one router which is connected to my PC with an ethernet cable, pretty sure UPnP is already enabled but I'll have to double check.Originally Posted by Turric4n666 Go to original post
