When i try to buy credits, the uplay overlay pops up, but no window loads for finishing the order.

I have the same problem. I've searched the Uplay website to see if I can just buy credits for my account over the web, but no luck. It's almost like Ubi doesn't want our money!

Same issue here.
Even tried manually opening the 11 ports I can find referenced in various support threads for the in-game shop in other Ubi games. Confirmed that I have inbound & outbound "allow" rules in my FW for grw.exe, uplay & ubisoftgamelauncher64. I even temporarily removed my 2FA from my Ubi account to see if they just screwed that up...no dice.
It's fine Ubi, I guess I'll just keep my $$ and not worry about buying anything else.
I guess you can't really criticize Ubisoft for microtransactions if you can't actually complete a transaction.

Having the same problem, the actual store page doesn't load and is invisible, I can see the game behind the uplay overlay where the credit store should.

People who already have credits from buying the Gold Edition have said that the store functions for spending credits you already own. I haven't spoken to anyone yet who has been able to buy credits through the store.
It's kind of ironic that people criticized Ubi for having microtransactions in the game, and then the in-game store doesn't work.

same problem here, and apparently its been about 4 days now and still nothing. I wonder if the PC/PS4 guys are having the same difficulty? get your **** together UBI!!!!!

I found the answer. For Steam users, it's the Uplay overlay that's blocking the Steam purchase from going through. Open up the Uplay program before launching the game, then go to SETTINGS. Under GENERAL uncheck ENABLE IN-GAME OVERLAY FOR SUPPORTED GAMES. Now when you visit the in-game store and click on purchase credits, your web browser will open to Steam's webpage. You can then log in and make the credit purchase through Steam. When you finish the Steam transaction, your available credits in-game will be instantly updated.
