I can launch the game and even play, but I have no sound. I have tried speakers, USB headset and BT headsets. I have sound in all my other games no problem.![]()
yeah I'm sorta having the same issue I get sounds but not voices..
(Created Bug Fix for it read blow)
Kills the mood, really lame, any fix for you guys?
I use Logitech 933, and my sound card is Sounds Blaster Z, GPU is EVGA 1080 FTW
BUG FIX HERE TLDR; Turn off Ghost Recon: Wild Lands. Turn off Headset. Disable Headset in Playback Devices(Bottom right). Enable speakers. Launch Ghost Recon. Minimize, Enable Logitech Headset in Playback Devices. Voices should work, you can test it at main menu.
The Division also had a huge bug with Logitech Gaming Software or something related to headset, I remember took me a week to find fix online.(It caused huge black buildings, and horrendous FPS)
Bug Fix Log:
Spent over an hour on it to help others out.
Edit 1: Alright Im trying to bug test fixes right now.
I unplugged my Logitech 933 completely, and removed USB. Disabled Headset, and Enabled Speakers through Monitor.
Ran game.
Voices work.
Edit 2: While the game was running with voices on using my speakers. I disabled speakers, plugged in USB and turned on Headset.
Voices continued to work.
Then with my Headset on and USB plugged in, I restarted the game, and the voices stopped working again.
Edit 3: Turned off game, disabled Headset, enabled Speakers, USB plugged in. Turned game on, voices work. Enabled Headset voices continue to work.
For the next test I will see if Logitech Gaming Software interferes with anything. (I use it for Logitech mouse DPI settings)
While the game was running with Headset on and USB in, Logitech Gaming Software did not interfere with voices working.
Edit 4: As expected, turning game on with Headset on, USB in, and LGS on resulted in no voices in cutscenes.
Edit 5: For the next test I tried to see is switching between Speakers and Headsets mid game would create bug or fix it. The bug was created.
When I turned off Headset, and turned on Speakers, voices would work but I believe the voices sounded muffled. When I went turn on Headset, there were no voices. When I retested this again, with opening Ghost Recon, while having speakers enabled, and headset disabled. Then Enabling the headset and disabling speakers, it seemed work when I cycled twice.
