When i close Wildlands i get an ad asking me to buy wildlands. Kind a wasted ad? That sais, stop ads all together when i close a game plz.

The same thing happens when I close For Honor. I get an add offering a link to buy For Honor. This morning, when I closed Wildlands, I got an add to buy DLC content for Watchdogs 2. I don't own Watchdogs 2...

it's not Steam. It's the Uplay client. They could rewrite the ad portion of the client to not not show an ad for something you already own. I could accept if they were suggesting a game I don't own, or DLC for one that I do (and I don't own that DLC).

BTW, to my knowledge, Steam doesn't have ads after you dismiss the one that comes up upon initial login. At least, I've never seen one.

Game through uPlay client here, bundled with my GTX 1070, Ad for Wildlands pops up every single time I exit the game. Quite annoying.

I've had similar thing happening. And I get ads on my hotmail and stuff :P I'm not that bothered by it... It's just wierd and feels like... Unprofessional in some odd way.

Ye, I got it with my 1070 to. Haven't got the ad for Wildlands everytime I exit tho, maybe one or twice. But it's still kinda ******ed that Uplay can't keep track of what games I've already purchased and stop ads about it.... It feels like Uplay is really badly thought through. Come on Ubi, Valve did it pretty well, why can't you?
