With all graphic settings maxed around 30 fps in cutscenes (or at least the first cutscene after character creation) and around 30-55 fps in gameplay. Also seem to experience a stutter that is more noticeable during cutscenes but is also present during gameplay.
Anyone been playing around with the graphics settings that may have identified which ones are most at fault for the biggest performance hits.
Is SLI causing me issues?
Thanks folks in advance for any advice/help.
I would have to think its SLi as I only have one 1070 GTX and I run a constant 50+ on Ultra and I have a similar setup.
if you got issues with SLI then im seriously screwed with an R9 295X2 card, i cant turn off crossfire
couldnt ever get the beta to work either. time will tell in about 20 m ins if the game boots or not after its downloaded
by ultra do you mean you have maxed each single option under graphics or just chosen the ultra profile preset?Originally Posted by MrSicks Go to original post
Even by setting up a profile in Nvidia control panel for wildlands single-gpu the performance is still in the toilet.
ok, update.
So I have disabled SLI and yes the game is smoother. Stuttering now gone. Though performance still averaging 40 fps with dips into the 30s. I want to achieve a constant 60+ fps. I think the reason I cannot achieve that with every single setting maxed is because of my high resolution. I am running at UWQHD (3440x1440) which is a lot more pixels than say 1080p or even standard 1440p.
I was hoping to get some advice on which graphical options I should sacrifice for the largest performance gain without too much visual fidelity lost.
Thanks!
Set Vegetation Quality from Ultra to High you wont notice that much of a difference but you'll gain a good fps boost. Long range shadows also seems to take quite a hit on the fps.
