Kensei needs some tweaks made to it

Writing this to address some major changes needed to the kensei as a whole after having multiple matches with them to address class imbalance. The Kensei as a class is a great class as a whole but does need a few small changes made to it. I will list them as follows. THe Problems with the Kensei are as follows. I will also address what is currently good with the kensei as well.

    Whats fine with the kensei.

    1. Classes range of attacks. The Kenseis attack range is fine and exactly where it needs to be wielding a two handed nodachi the character range is abslolutely perfect.
    2. Defense mechanics and how the overall character is played out is perfect.
    3. Damage output is exactly where it needs to be.

    Problems with the kensei.
THe Main problem with the kensei when compared to other classes. is its attack speed. For a character that wields a two handed Nodachi. Aka a katana bigger then your standard katana. Its attack speeds are way to fast. as are most vanguard classes. Given the characters range and combos. Its range is sufficient enough to hold a character at bay with a defensive play style. The Kensei in Short needs its attack speeds of its light attacks reduced

Kensei needs a way to break the "parry fishing" stalemate.
He lacks a shove/bash. Whatever he tries to do can be parried, which makes him as dangerous as a baby against someone who doesn't mess up.

As it stands he's bound to be locked out of the higher tiers sooner or later (depends on how fast people will get good).

honestly, his only tools against good players is his fast attacks, otherwise it will only lead to situations like these https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rJU5pKyqXA he can barelly keep up against good players, especially ones who know how to defend well, nevermind shield players.

You want to remove the only thing Kensei has? He's got like one decent combo, no mix ups, he's even more straight forward than the Warden...all you can do with him is a top unbreakable combo finisher that you can soft feint into a completely inferior move.

    That's about it.

The only way he can do damage is by having a heavy as fast as a Warden Top Light.

He doesn't need anything like the last dude said learn to parry he doesn't have a op cancerous combo like others. His attack speed is ally slower than warden top light and zone

It really is just L2Parry. He's unbelievably weak against a player who can parry well- and most of the other heroes are quick enough to get a guaranteed hit on Ken after a parry- he stays staggered for days. He doesn't need anything brought down when he's possible to beat with any other character and still has a mechanic that cripples him that anyone can use- and shield classes (who are in a pretty...elevated spot) beat him harder than any other class, imo.

He's got decent range- but there are plenty of options to make that range mean nothing. Keep pressing him into a wall- gap closers- or even run to an area that suits you better. Make sure they know you're dragging them so they don't run off and 2v1 your teammates under the assumption you're going to do the same.
