3 hours on the new patch, no issues so far, tomorrow I will try to put 5 hours straight to see if this is working, at least we got a performance boost.

Ok, guys I unhooked all USB except for keyboard and mouse, only loaded uplay no afterburner GRW in fullscreen did not alt-tab out to second screen, and was able to play for 4hrs when before I would crash every 20-30 minutes, haven't tried patch as I'm still out for the day!

Again I have four PCs at home and mine has the crashes my sons don't have issues like I do here is our spec mine first, eldest to youngest

Okay I possibly have a fix that may work for some of you

    So my specs:

    i5 3570K (no overclock)
    16GB RAM
EVGA GeForce 1080 FTW Hybrid (no overclock)
    Windows 10 Pro
    2 monitors

Purchased the Ghost Recon Wildlands Gold Edition

    My issue:

Basically the same as you guys.

Yesterday I updated my Nvidia Drivers. Today I purchased, downloaded and updated the game without even opening it up.
Once it was done I went into the game in order for GeForce Experience to get a hold of the settings for quick optimization. Then I put V-Sync on in game.

I finally get into setting my keyboard controls. After 8-10 mins the game freezes. The system is still fine. Flip over to my second monitor to kill the process in task manager.

This happens to me 3 times which is kind of annoying as my key binds were not saved on the first freeze.

    Things I did:

    1. Reboot the computer
    2. Exit out of EVGA Precision which loads on Windows Startup for me.
    3. Go into UPlay, settings and clear the checkbox next to, 'Display FPS counter in game'.
    4. Play the game.

from that point forward I had no crashes. I played for about 45 minutes, and left my task manager up. Noticed that my CPU swings between 55 and 99 percent, RAM has gotten up to maybe 3.5GB, but they fluctuate.

So it could be EVGA Precision or the UPlay FPS counter, or maybe I just needed to reboot my system after the install!

Deal is, some games don't like graphics overlays and in this case I've got 3 programs that can do it: UPlay, EVGA Precision, and GeForce Experience. I'm not counting Steam or Origin because they weren't running at all for my issue.

I hope this helps extend your game time! I'm going to enable the UPlay FPS option now and see if I can keep it on...

Make sure to unplug any unnecessary peripherals from your computer, follow this troubleshooting guide, and if all else fails; you can send your msinfo to an agent at https://support.ubi.com and clicking on "Contact Customer Support" for more individualized support.

I've also had issues since the release of the game. I can load the game and play for about 5 minutes before it crashes. I've been keeping up with this thread and have been trying every solution that every one has posted and still no luck. Pretty close to disputing and switching to PS4....

I've downloaded the latest patch (4GB) and the latest nVidia driver, then verified files - and now the game works like a charm (ignoring the few little freezes here and there).
Didn't crash for me for atleast 2, maybe more, hours of gameplay with friends.

Atleast with my cases - well done Ubisoft, keep on resolving other ones.

Exactly the same. With the ninja fast error message. Nothing in Eventviewer. I THINK I saw something about usupported in that milisecond of error message. (I've seen it MANY times now)
