The Problem with "fixing" the guardbreak counter" *Video*

I have seen multiple people posting about how impossible it is to get Guard Break Counters. I made this to show just how possible it is and also show the problem with "fixing" it in the upcoming patch.
Guys like the one I was dueling against I'm sure have spent A LOT of time cultivating the skill that is guard break counters. Now after this patch, what this guy did will be much easier and less impressive, and all the people that worked hard to be able to do it will have wasted their time.
I also understand I am likely about to get a landslide of salt for the amount of guardbreaks (on top of playing Orochi in the first place) I was doing, keep in mind that after I realized how good this guy was at them, I was doing more than usual with creating a video in mind.
Also, I am playing on PS4 where the new patch has not been made.

yeah, some people can get good at guard break counters.

Some people can also counter people getting enough revenge to use in 1v1, doesn't mean it isn't OP

Personally, I'd rather not see Guard-breaking become a top-tier tool. Some complain its impossible to get one to connect and work, and that's fine. I don't want see the window be so tight that it's abused like Peacekeepers are lower levels - Where it can just be spammed for free, inescapable damage because nobody at that tier has the reflexes to deal with it.

    Actually, yes?
If others can consistently but you cannot, that's a L2P issue.

I had my problems with GBs, ever since I got the timing right I'm totally cool. I still **** them up sometimes, but it's my own fault and I'm still working on it.

the sheer volume of players complaining that revenge is overpowered disagrees with that

As statistic says - most people got low or mediocre skill. That doesn't mean we should make the game easier.

When it comes to GBcounters it does. Every other precise timing thing is something that new players aren't meant to master, and don't NEED to master right away in order to survive a regular fight. Guard breaks, on the other hand, have no other counter, and landing one means they get at least one guaranteed hit or even a 1 hit kill if they throw you off a cliff or something. If you don't have the super precise timing down, you're completely powerless.

Light attack. Damn i found counter right away. I must be god. I don't care about new players that do not want to learn. Making it even easier, than they did with fix, will make GB useless.

So what? Your points are the weakest ever.
There's lots of people who thinks earth is flat, does that make it flat?

Facts are facts, opinions are opinions.

Then get the timing down and stop being powerless?

No, rather make GBs completely void of sense and purpose apart from stunlocking people and after a parry. Genius.
