So I played roughly 3 hours of the early game last night (in Australia we pay more for games but we sometimes are lucky enough to get an early release).
Now I may be a little rusty, but my early impression of gameplay on extreme is that the A.I. Plugged into the matrix and got a lethality upgrade. Don't get me wrong, their pathfinding will still occasionally cause them to go play in oncoming traffic, but as a whole, they shot straighter, reacted faster, had a higher perception of their surroundings, and orchestrated flanking group tactics.... and this was all in the starting province!
Bodies still unfortunately disappear when you don't face them, but I did notice that they seem to stick around a lot longer when facing them from a sniper nest, which led to a patrolling enemy to discover a fallen comrade 30 seconds after I sniped him from the grassy knoll.
All up I am so far satisfied with what seems like a much needed difficulty boost. Now we just need Ubisoft to patch bodies to stick around and the enemy A.I. will almost be perfect.
Good update and this is indeed welcomed news. Honestly this was probably my biggest gripe with the game overall while playing the beta.
Now if they could just iron out a few more issues, I'll be perfectly happy. I am impatiently waiting for release in my area and have nothing to go on but posts about gameplay here on the forum.
So I thank you for this positive update!
All those visuals and landscapes to render yet the developers can't keep a few dead enemy bodies around for a few minutes longer? Removal of dead NPCs will have negligible effects on the framerate but has a huge hit on the realism and immersion in game.
How things like this pass by the devs logic is a mystery.
Too many cooks in the kitchen is my guess.Originally Posted by Venger___ Go to original post
GlassGhost? Can you answer me a question about these keys and if they can be remapped?
INSER, HOME. PGDN, DEL. END, PGUP
UBISOFT, We need an answer about this. I found out that someone said these keys are still not customizable.
May I point out by your own words on this page, that you state on the third paragraph down, that the keyboard is fully customizable. So, is this a BS lie? Can some one from UBISOFT please post about his?

In fairness, there is a comma between customizable controls and keyboard support... I think you misunderstood what you read. Read it again. I see no lie even if you cannot re-map the buttons you are looking to...Originally Posted by Darkxxxx Go to original post
Clearly you dont seem to understand the wording, FULL Keyboard and mouse support. Now to me, that clearly means fully supporting of all keys on the keyboard.Originally Posted by AkimuMC Go to original post
