    Centurion and Ninja DLC Leak

Hi, I know that you cannot confirm the next two DLC characters for the game, but I wanted to point out that the Ninja makes sense with the era, but a early Roman/Greek warrior like a Centurion does not fit at all with this games era (If that is what it will be called in the actual release). Why not go with late Roman Empire warrior-> Eastern Greek Orthodox Byzantine Empire warrior? There were plenty of unique warriors with armor that evolved from early Roman/Greek armor. I hope that you guys have a legitimate way of explaining a Centurion in the Middle Ages. Please consider starting the armor off early Greek/Roman (muscle armor) and then higher level armor evolves to Byzantine armor (armor plated or scale) so that it makes sense at least. Like the warrior had crumbling ancient armor and then higher level obtained proper armor of the time. Please reassure us that you will maintain the integrity of the theme and quality of story. It means a lot to us! :-)

Ummm... how bout... "Cause its awesome!" - that seems a legit reason to me...

I, for one, am BEYOND stoked to try the Roman Centurion... Has potential to be my new class (as long as its not total crap let down like the LB was :P)

Id personally like to see more of this type of thing. Thats just me though. I dont need much in the way of "lore" to support this.

FYI - Im sure you know, but there IS mention of this in the Knight Chapter 1 campaign in SP... They mention the Knights came from the Centurions and everyone THINKS they are all dead (guess not!). So there is your "lore background" right there ALREADY in the game.

I´m also a bit sour because of the major historical flaws. Some things I don´t mind like the horns on the viking helmet or the sad tries to make a scary face on a helmet (Kensei). A Roman soldier though is pushing the line for me. I´m guessing we will see the T-800 from Terminator next ...oh, you think it doesn´t fit the game? "Hey, it only conflicts with the timeline and everything does not need to be so accurate"

I know they mention the Centurion in the game, but it makes no sense. The Centurions are West Roman Empire warriors from the BC era. The Middle Ages were around the 11th-15th centuries!

According to the opening, they've been fighting for 1000 years. That's more than wide enough of a time frame to include The Roman Empire.

What "timeline"? This game is set in an entirely different universe- real-world history is completely erroneous to this discussion.

Thank you. I was about to post the same thing.

Maybe Ubi-soft should have just added :

"A long time ago in a galaxy far away..." at the beginning of the game and nobody would give 2 ****s about NEW CLASSES we are getting.

Seriously.... They care enough to give us more classes. And people want to be sour about the lore/realisticness? Cmon man. Give me a break. NEW CLASSES! :P

Now if we DO start seeing a Terminator or something WAY out of wack then ya... thats silly. But its not like this is that far outside the realm of "realistic"...

Exactly! Wtf are you guys talking about historical accuracy? there's freaking Samurais fighting Vikings and Knights all over the place. This game has no reason to be historically accurate. It's a Warrior's game period. Just because they started out with medieval warriors doesn't mean they HAVE to stick with that time period. They can add a freaking Egyptian warrior or Persian Immortal itd still fit in. They could add a freaking Zorro type of Musketeer and it'd still be cool af.
