Apparently, a Tier 2.5 Lawbringer has NO viable way to beat a Tier 1 Valkyrie. Usually, the disadvantaged fighter would have at least a 30% chance of winning, but that's not what I just saw. And I'm not a scrub, either. My Lawbringer is Reputation 3, Level 16, and I haven't so much as GLANCED at the store.
I once beat two Tier 1 Orochis, one after the other, with no time to regenerate health, and won the Round by doing so.
I've fought against many people whom I consider to be above me in terms of skill, but in all of those fights, I STILL stood somewhat of a chance, and got their health AT LEAST halfway diminished.
This Valkyrie, however... I couldn't so much as touch her. And I TRIED! I attempted every tactic in my book- I tried to goad her into screwing up by blocking every strike and shoving her after doing so. I tried getting in her face and shoving her into a corner. I tried making false swings and catching her off-guard with the Light Attack in Swift Justice. I tried using Long Arm, but every time I did so, it only afforded me a single Light Attack.
Most of the time, in those three Duel matches, I couldn't get her health down by even one square. I only managed to reduce her health by half ONCE. Then she, somehow knocked me down with that shield bash that seems way too quick to be physically possible. It seems unlikely that someone of the Valkyrie's weight could even make a guy like the Lawbringer budge an inch...
That charging shield bash of hers - the one where she enters a full-block and presses Guard Break - is almost impossible to see coming, seeing as though you can never really tell if she's going to do THAT or that leaping stab with Forward Dash, Light Attack. Her defense seems bloody insurmountable (and I know what a good defensive player looks like- THIS wasn't it), even though she has what only amounts to a Godforsaken BUCKLER. It made sense with the Conqueror, since he has a full-blown shield. But a buckler can only protect your forearm.
In any case... any suggestions? And before any of you say "git gud", I'll have you know that I'm about as "gud" as I'm ever going to get. And BELIEVE me... I'm FAR from a pushover. If you don't believe me, I'll be glad to arrange a meeting over Xbox and settle it in the ring.

Have to agree, you are clearly doing something wrong, dunno what and i dont really care.
All i can say that Valkyrie should be able to be beaten even as a lawbringer, also her shield charge is not that fast, besides you can also just sidestep it "even as a LB" after that just punish her with a gb.
If you are on ps4 by any chance i would love to do some duels with you to maybe help out a bit ^^
