Steam Controller broken again for Uplay-version

I played the beta with the steam version and with the uplay version.

I was able to setup the steam controller without problems with the steam version.

For the uplay version I had to work around many problems - finally I was getting the controller to work using the desktop configuration set to emulate the mouse and keyboard commands.

I decided to choose the Uplay version with my 1080gtx-buying-option as a fix was announced.

Today there was an update to easy anti cheat. Since, as soon as I start Uplay the controller stops functioning.
So now I am not able to use the steam controller as long as uplay is started - wich prevents me from using it in for honor completly. Adding the game, uplay or the game link to steam did not work either.

it might be a steam issue too

I am using the xbox pad but I can only use my own configuration when using it as the desktop default config as well and I experienced several glitches while figuring it all out.

edit: should have read the whole thing. Dear god, please don't tell me you cant use your own keybindings now, I finally got them down after going through so much hassle with steam big picture and getting owned while relearning my bindings. And I refuse to keep playing with the default deadzone settings. I never realized how much you are hampering your game with the default deadzone before I used my own aggressive deadzone setting through steam....
