    Mixed Difficulties

Just something i thought about in the open beta, what happens if you play with a friend who has different level of difficulty?
I assume you get matched with same? if you join public co-op... or?

The feedback I've seen thus far is that if you are both running on a different difficulty then that is how it is, I don't know how this translates into the game as I've not played it at all but is stupid and something they've clearly overlooked as well as the host being able to set up parameters on who can join their game.

Yeah~ I had this issue in open beta.
Co-op with friends and I am in Extreme lv, and I notice that my friends keep telling me there more NPC haven't marked by drone.
But I can't see those color blur... all i can see is marked NPC on mini map.

So I figure that all my friends are in different difficulty lv... No wonder I die so soon...

    Anyone notice this?

I like that people can play at different difficulties together, if they want to. Plenty of situations where players of vastly different skill levels may want to play together.

That said, hosts should definitely be able to set their server difficulty. If you are playing through on extreme difficulty, you don't want someone to come in on easy mode and blaze through content. Defeats the purpose.

Then don't PUG if you want that control over the other players. If you play with random people it will be random. You should just be happy if they are actually helpful instead of just yelling in a language you don't understand while lagging out and spraying rounds all over the place.

i would appreciate if they could implement an Option for host to decide for individual difficulties on or off!! this could give a better synchronized experience. also other players can troll you in making easy difficulty and shoot you with grenades where you die in one shot and he can take dmg unless you hit him with a vehicle.

Rather than that I'd just appreciate region settings so I can at least try to ensure I group with randoms who I can communicate with and no one ends up with a ping in the 4 digits.

Are you really arguing against hosting options?

    ... why?

It probably wont matter, since the AI is not particularly challenging on any difficulty.
