Is that really necessary?

The guy started a legitimate thread and is enthused about the game. If you don't have anything relevant to say, don't try and bring him, or others down with sarcastic comments.

It's all well and fun! I myself just discovered recently that you can get resources from the app, so I figured there would be a mix of people that knew, had massive stockpiles, or just those curious of seeing responses.

Well, after posting last night I did open my HQ app and started playing and already have a LOT of resources built up ... namely because there are INSANE winds last night and today so all flight operations have been cancelled ... so ... stuck at home. So with today's high winds, and the fact that tomorrow thru Thursday is a 3-day weekend for me ... looks like a 4-day weekend to really get things going

got myself some resources but i rather play the real game instead
due to the Jugendschutzgesetz i cannot pay today until 11:00pm :O
i hope it just give me enough time to DL the full client before it goes live @ 12:00am

I don't really see a problem with stockpiling them in the app. It just cuts down on a little of the busy work in game since the resources are just picked-up as side objects and are useless on their own anyway. Having 100K of each doesn't matter and isn't going to cut into missions or exploration since you still need to do those to get XP for levels and collect skill points to use the resources.

Man, you guys have a lot. I played a decent amount over the last month or so but I cut back recently since I have been so busy. I never received any more than 250-500 at a time though, never got anything like 1000 in one shot that I recall.

Gas: 5250
Comms: 3500
Food: 2250
Meds: 5000

From what I recall from the beta, the resources go by pretty quickly, no? I think for one of the upgrades you needed 2 or 3 skill points and like 1200 resources.

Looks Like you can only transfer a limited amount per day.

I did a transfer earlier to the full retail game on PS4 and it only transferred around 1500 of each resource. The resource sync was then locked out. I'm assuming this opens up again tomorrow to allow a further 1500 to be transferred.

I hope this is correct, because being able to farm like hundreds of thousands of resources and get it all at right away in the game, you would not ever in the games lifetime need to collect any resources ingame ever. I hope there is a WEEKLY max transfer to the game.

I noticed the same thing last night. Had about 100,000 resources in total to send over - game only sent 1250 of each type. Did the same again this morning.
5000 a day might be the cap.
