As a lawbringer, your main strength is in your ability to parry, specifically light attacks since those give you the option of using your overhead unblockable without the risk of it being parried or dodged (unless you're fighting Peacekeeper or Conquerer, for some reason they recover faster and can parry or dodge it).
Playing lawbringer is literally a handicap at this point until they buff him in the next patch. He lacks a lot of the tools other classes have and his strengths are parrying, which any class can do just as well as him if not better in some cases.
However, after playing him to Rep 11 I've gotten godlike in my parrying abilities, so transferring that skill to other characters has made me extremely effective with them.
To answer your question with a TLDR: Don't attack him, wait for him to attack, block the first, parry the second (since it'll come out slower unless he started with heavy>light rather than the usual light>heavy). If you parried a light, go for Blind Justice (overhead unblockable on parry). If you parried a heavy, guard break him and either A)Throw him into a wall for an overhead heavy if there is one nearby or B) Go for a side heavy. Always be prepared for dodge attacks, these are easy parries.
Always be ready to guard break, no matter who you're fighting. So many people dodge and give me a free uncounterable guard break that it's funny when they rage.
However, if you're fighting a very skilled berzerker who throws in feints in between his combos you'll probably find it nearly impossible to win. Lawbringer's guard stance change is too slow to adjust for switching attack directions reliably, making you occasionally have to guess the direction of the next attack. On top of that, if you try to parry a heavy and he feints, you're done. He can feint and either guard break or start another chain of attacks before your feint even finishes, making your only strength a huge risk.
