Just spoke with Kyle K on Ubisoft chat and he clarified the early access welcome code as well as others playing already.

1. The codes were for press which equates to people with like 22 followers on youtube.com and twitch and other outlets. LOL
2. Others who are playing the game is because of a error in the USPS system that people got their games early and are playing right now ahead of all of us.
3. There's nothing they can do to help us who have been screwed in this process.
