I've only sniped with the M40 so far - have to compensate a lot for bullet drop, and there is a bit of scope sway you have to account for too (maybe this becomes less on better rifles?).Originally Posted by Hajdu_Energomat Go to original post
Overall, it's fun and very satisfying when you catch someone at a distance.
Size-wise, the map is definitely larger than GTA V, though the majority of the map is terrain (hills, mountains, lakes, trees, fields, etc), rather than being packed with stuff to do or see.Originally Posted by EvilStig666 Go to original post
As for changes - I can't see any massive immediate changes; my guess is that the 2.7 GB Day One patch that we installed, was more for performance and bug related issues rather than actual tweaks and adjustments.
On the issue of performance - render and draw distances seem quite short (Xbox One), but performance seems fine; I've only encountered one instance of a major frame rate drop, but no crashes. Bugs are an issue though
Unidad seem far more aggressive - in my encounters with them, I've noticed they flank far more aggressively and the chopper they call in is a pain.Originally Posted by GiveMeTactical Go to original post
The Cartel are quite poor - hide behind cover and don't move. Get stuck in doorways or on objects, etc.
Teammate AI is hit or miss - I've had problems today getting them to sync up on sync shots even though targets are exposed and in LoS. I haven't had an issue or scenario where AI teammates have blown an OP or exposed me out of stealth, or anythin like that, like some others have reported though.
I'm not sure.Originally Posted by Flaw3dGenius23 Go to original post
I've only explored 4 provinces currently, and so far I've come across a lot of smaller towns / villages (similar to Itacua in the beta), rather than a big massive city.
Nothing that immediately becomes apparent. I'm assuming you are talking about AI behavior and vehicle handling? That all seems to be the same as the beta.Originally Posted by philbert009 Go to original post
Not unusual. Day One patches typically focus on performance & bug related issues, rather than gameplay tweaks. Given that the beta was just a short while ago, not unreasonable to expect a patch early on to introduce said changes.
I'd go as far as to say that I think the game needs an early patch to address some of the more prevalent issues.
