    Revenge Warlord

    I need advice.
I play Conqueror and I see atm no chance to escape the revenge of Warlord. If I roll away and then dodge further they can follow me easily and if I roll away and then try to run they can easy catch me with their sprint top attack.
What should I do when a crazy headbutt Warlord uses revenge?

    You Dont

Warlord is the most broken character at this point in the game. One can't do anything If they decide to spam headbutt, their parry timing is one of the trickiest in the game, and the headbutt, the fastest unblockable in the game, knocks people down in revenge. Ubisoft please nerf this madman.

I don't really agree that Warlord is broken (he just fits the meta, it's a wholde different discussion), but yes, the revenge headbutt thing has to go. I play Warlord myself and whenever I get revenge with gear on it's a massacre - headbutt, attack (half health), headbutt, attack, win. My gear is around 90 and this tactic is so broken it's not even funny.

I thought about changing my build, but then you face players with 108 gear who has no moral dilema about expoloiting broken mechanics and you have to even the odds somehow.

Anyway - people falling over after headbutt is super overpowered. And I said this as w Warlord.

You could argue that Warden's and PK are on a similiar tier to Warlord, in duels and brawl.

However, this goes completely out of the window once you introduce gears and feats. 4v4 mode Warlord is so stupidly broken I can't fathom how it got through testing. Who thought that giving him an attack and defense buff was alright is probably crazy.

Seriously, a 108 revenge gear Warlord with buffs on is like a campaign boss fight. The odds are so tilted in his favor it's crazy!

I agree that Warden and PK are similarly broken to the Warlord.

All three have broken ZAs. The PK actually out-abuses the Warlord in revenge IMO just because you can literally spam a revenge every 2 seconds on a PK thanks to one of her feats and she is so much more mobile so running away from a revenge PK is much tougher.

PKs and Zerkers regularly get revenge in 1v1s if gear stats are turned on. That's obnoxiously broken.

I've been able to deal with revenge Warlord by just dodging his headbutts and playing completely defensively while he is revenged.

PK's light spamming is much harder to defend against than headutt and lunge attack spam. So dealing with her revenge is much harder IMO. Even harder now that Ubisoft gave them more closing power on their light attack spam (such a stupid decision with horribad logic behind it).

But yeah, knocking people down through techs in revenge in general needs a nerf.

Conq, Warlord, Warden, Lawbringer, and Nobushi are all guilty of abusing that.

At this point the game is so full of cheese that it is difficult to say which character is the most broken.

But what is clear is that the majority of the playerbase is sick of it, it negatively effects immersion, and as a result the number of active players drops every single day.

Oh yeah, and the inconsistent timings on every single mechanic due to the terrible P2P servers also makes the game un-enjoyable.

I think I could probably live with the cheesy garbage and play around it if it weren't for that.

But losing duels because you can't land your supposedly guaranteed damage off your GB. Or failing a GB counter or missing a block that you clearly did block... those kinds of incidents make the game truly unplayable.

You just can't have a skill based game like this run off P2P and expect competitive players to take it seriously. When you do the research and possess the skill to counter-play something and the game just isn't responsive enough to allow you to. That's when I walk away from that game.

    That's where I'm at.

I'm looking forward to a relaxing break from For Honor in favor of some good ol Player vs Environment with friends in Ghost Recon.

Maybe by the time I get bored with that and then Mass Effect then the For Honor dev team will have pulled their head out of their arses.

Why do bashes need to knockdown in revenge mode? Gives some classes a severe advantage in revenge, with the warlord being at the top with the fastest bash in the game.

Pray he's near an edge/terrain that you can gb and kick him off/into for the instagib. Otherwise pop your head between your legs and kiss your *** goodbye.
