I think if anything revenge should be a perk reserved for the losing team... I mean one team is at 900 and the other at 200 why should the current leaders be able to farm their revenge 2-3 times in less then 1 and destroy the lesser players?
usually this is in a mismatch too high level vs low and they also farm revenge due to items that are perked towards pure revenge growth.
honestly revenge should just be removed or nerfed with cooldowns and such.. nothing more frustrating then owning a player then they pop revenge to win because attacking is bad in a fighting game apparently.

Yes, attacking randomly is bad in every single fighting game. That's why the term "punish" exists.
In this game, a blocked attack doesn't give "negative frames" to punish (parry does, stress on "block") but instead gives revenge.
We could argue that injuries shouldn't give revenge, that I would agree with.
