I think if he could feint lights and heavies at almost any stage of the attack and could soft cancel heavy attacks into gb it would be a good buff while preserving his status as a mind game master.

I wonder if it could be a nice change to give kensei hyperarmor after successfull second attack in the chain in order to make his Top Unblockable, and maybe even soft feints after it, uninterruptable,

I think that already is a thing. I know for sure that the soft feint after unblockable has hyper armor and I think second attacks do to but maybe it is the third attack.

I think he means making the top unblockable Unstoppable too x) I don't ever think this will happen.

For information, Kensei got 2 super armor moves : Zone and Side Heavy soft feinted (after Top Unblockable).

Yup, pretty much this hyperarmor for any attack after the successfull 2-nd hit. Both 3-rd in chain side heavys have it now if I'm not mistaking.
Though, I'm taking back this suggesion, hyperarmor won't do much here as far as Top Unblockable with it's current speed lasts like 50 years and can just be dodged so damn fast...

Zone attack is just to tank 1 attack and do GB. You can always unclock turn back to enemy and use it hoping for "low" frame 1st hit.

Overal I suppose that Raider is much better for 1v1 than Kensei. He can at least cancel his heavies into very fast top light that blinds enemy. Can also punish players without stamina. And seem to have faster attacks, but I may be mistaken about tthis one.

In my opinion raider is the worst character, he can't even get a heavy attack in from a gb or throw. Most of the time he cant even get a gb out of a parry. The only thing raider has going for him is decent light attacks (in comparison to kensei)

They are pretty much in the same spot of sh1tness to be honest, kensei is not better in any way.

Raider has the heavy > top light feint which is pretty good and stuns, heavies does a lot more damage than kensei heavies and if a raider throw you to the ground they can pretty much two-shot you with a top heavy and unblockable (or unblockable feint > parry and start again).

I play both Raider (rep.6) and Kensei (rep.2) and for me there is no colour, raider > kensei.

I was playing against a Raider as a Kensei today, his zone attack is a 1st his unblockable AND cancelable, which makes it a very solid 50/50 when his opponent is out of stamina. Combine that with that glitchy side heavy into top light and he is clearly one class above the Kensei. As of right now Kensei is probably the worst class for 1v1.

anyone know what kensei changes are coming?

Didn't found anything precise about it. Looking for it to. I'm hoping so much about AT LEAST side light atk speed buff.
