parry into GB+free heavy. too powerful and possibly a bug

I haven't seen any confirmations on this but looking at the different classes and their toolkits, a great number of moves are overshadowed by the Parry->GB->heavy - giving me the impression that the devs did not expect connecting a parry with a GB would be possible.
The most obvious example is the Lawbringers kit. Half of his movelist consist of parry punishes. All of them are practically pointless when compared to the very easy to do and consistent GB into free heavy.
If GB->heavy on parry is a bug to be fixed, then Lawbringers parry mixups would actually be useful. And other moves like Warlords parry punishes (I believe it's a shieldbash that disorients, followed up by a light?) aswell is his IMP. block on light startups would be brought forth. At the moment they too are quite pointless when you can just use the universal parryGBheavy punish. I know there are other class specific moves also overshadowed by this parry punish.

Like I mentioned, all this makes me think that the possibility of linking an untechable GB after you parry an attack, is a BUG. That it's not supposed to be in the game.
If it got removed, either by not being able to use GB directly after you parry someone, or simply making the followup GB techable (GB counter) - all these abilities that are practically useless atm will all of a sudden find a use - effectively buffing the Lawbringers duel capabilities which are severely lacking, aswell as Raiders since no GB on parry means less GB overall. Since Raiders do not have a free heavy on GB this would be good news for him, it would reduce the gap between him and the rest.

People also seem to be looking for a way to steer the game away from a "turtle"-metagame. Removing parryGBheavy would remove a big chunk of the dmg output a turtle playstyle relies upon. At the very least not giving them so many easy and perfectly safe heavies.

If you are worried about parry becoming useless other than the stamina drain; Im not 100% sure about what works on what, but there seems to be many different attacks other than a GB that links on a parry. Both class specific moves and universal ones, although not super consistent (this might very well just be me being slow on followups). Looking around in these forums and also giving it a go myself, if Im quick about it I seem to be able to link heavies after parrying my opponents light attacks (and possibly lights after parrying heavies). You guys probably know more about this than I do, but the point is that parry will still have a use, there will still be followups. Just not as easy to do/figure out as the parryGBheavy.

ON A SIDE NOT; as someone who loves playing Raider, I and many others would love it if you could take a look at block/directional speeds. Or if you feel like you already have - do finally give us an explanation to why the Raiders, Nobushis, Lawbringers etc comparably slow blocks are fine where they are. Also please look at Wardens continuous 50/50's with their shoulder bash spam. Letting them keep their 50/50 but making it so that they can't keep doing it over and over again if it lands might be a good answer (I might very well be biased on this though, it's just incredibly frustrating)
If anyone who reads this have seen any confirmations or otherwise obvious answers to any of this, please redirect me. I've looked around but I haven't found anything.
    Thank you.

I do wish that the stance changes were quicker on the slower guys though.

Unfortunately, it's not a bug. Parry followed by an unavoidable GB is intentional. That "brilliant" idea from Ubisoft creates the most boring fights ever. Not to mention it favors classes with lightning fast attack speed, like PK (as if fast attacking classes need more help), since they are so difficult to parry when compared to slower classes.

In my opinions freee GB situations are way to unpredictable and frustrating.
The free GB after parry is the reason why defense > offense in high lvl play.

I would love to see a change like stun debuff after succesful parry.
p.e. 1s stun when parried a light and 2s on a heavy attack.

This would give u an opening without killing any counterplay,

Everything points to it being a bug in the form of a huge oversight of the auto lock-on when you use abilities a couple of steps away from your target. What makes you think it's intentional? if it's explained in some video or whatever, please link it.

i think it`s due to recovery times.

p.e. warden`s shoulderbash vs valks shieldbash

while wardens shoulderbash has pretty much no recovery time u cant get a free gb after dodging it.
Still you`ll get a free gb on a valk when dodging her shieldbash due to her high recovery times.

thats what caused the "bug" they fixed for berserker and conquerer lately. (free gb after blocked light atks)

You need to play 1v1 more, then u will understand that its parry into gb isnt bad idea, its really good. Problem is, u play like a moron and get easy parried and punished by your bad plays.
