How For Honor's Server System Breaks the Fun of the Game
Alright, I'm sure we've all been here, starting up a game, waiting for the match to start, you finally find one, and you choose your hero (I hate all of you Nobushi, Peace Keeper, and Valkyries mains with a deep passion) You start it, and suddenly, an error message pops up, and returns you to the main menu... What?! I'm pretty sure we've all heard it before how bad the server system is, whether from a video, review, friend, or even your dog, it's been said many times. And I'm going to complain too. I've been doing really well, having the time of my life destroying the enemy team, then it happens, and suddenly, it's like none of it has even happened! And I'm sure, by the time of posting this, the event of doing the dominion games for a chest, more than half of the amount required has already been played, but never counted due to the connection issues. It deeply saddens me, that a game I've waited for since the day of announcement, the game my friends constantly get upset at me for playing all the time, the game I enjoy so much, has so many problems, where it's difficult to play a single match of it without everything going wrong. I get it, the game was just released and the reviews are still coming in, and I'm sure Ubisoft is working on a solution to the problem, maybe making a stable server for each coast, or making a different system to make the game more enjoyable, but I needed to get my opinion out there. For Honor is a game that each fraction of a second, even 1/ 1,000,000 of a second, will decide the game, or just a little hit, and this server issue will stop that. Even the little synchronization thing it does ruins the fight, and makes you either get the upper hand for finishing the load faster than your opponent (I am ashamed you attacked a defenseless person, unless they are the 3 I listed earlier, than do anything to kill them.) or die because you have a slower computer. All in all, For Honor is an amazing game, and I highly recommend it, but no one will fully live the game, until most of these issues are fixed, and that isn't a simple task. So, if any Ubisoft employee is reading this, thinking "Ugh, just another keyboard warrior typing away to reclaim the holy forums, I don't get paid enough for this." Then you'd be right, but seriously, it'd be great if you could reply to this telling me what the situation is about the server problem, I'd appreciate it. But, one more sentence before I go. DEUS VULT!
