Hey, this may sound ridiculous and I am aware is also a declaration to never having gotten to the 1st place position lol. I am wondering if I need to have all the stars to win the outfits head piece in first position, or do I just need to get to the rank of 1st?

No,Rank 1 is enough to get the head,no need for all the 5 stars.
