Yeah. More like shortcut bundles in Battlefield games. You get different weapons but they're no better or worse than the ones you get from the grind.
Battlefield doesn't sell upgrades though. All the shortcut will do is unlock the grind for some weapons that weren't included in your original purchase.

Like,I bought one shortcut for the SUAV but still had to do the same missions to get it as everyone else.

Yeah pretty much everyone that has been playing it said everything can be earned in game its just the store stuff is there for shortcuts. It sounds basically like the same exact system that rainbow six siege does.

Have fun in GRWL!! After 2000 hours it seems like you've absolutely had your money's worth and if there's something down the line that sounds good for you, you might come back to try it out.

    Again, have fun.

I wanted to do my GRW pre-load this weekend, but took a trip to KC. Will have to start the pre-load as soon as I get home.

I see someone has no idea the difference between a publisher and a developer, but thank you Capt. Obvious I know Ubisoft publishes this game. It's Massive that develops the game I have no confidence in that I'm dissatisfied with.

Thank you, I do feel I got my money's worth from this game. I don't dislike the Division just tired of all the BS from massive. Who knows the game might get better and I would return. Anyways thanks for your positive comments and good luck to you also.

OK, 2K hours - that says enough for me. You love the game, but it-you have moved on. I get it - the world has changed...
2K hours for at most $100 - that is 20 cents an hour! What other entertainment medium can provide that price/performance.

As I have said before, if the division died today, I got more than my moneys worth.

    just move on.
