Hey guys

is it allowed like for example in origin to unlock games early when you use a vpn?
the game will be out in australia 10 hours before my (europe) timezone. so if i start uplay with a vpn and start the game and then disconnect from vpn, the game will be playable 10 hours before it's official out in europa.
of course i don't want to get banned but i still want to know if you have ever done it in another game or if you have ever heard of a ban for this.

i will do it anyway, still wanted to ask before. thanks

I have done it in other games and have never been banned.

I contacted support about that and the guy I talked with could not say for sure. He said this: "We do not encourage the use of VPNs to access content early. We are not sure if that would work and can not recommend that. " and when I asked if in theory it would work I would be allowed to do it he said this: "We have not decided on any action taken for people that do that, but I can not make any promises that we will not in the future. I would do it at your own risk. ". So it seems like so far they did not ban anyone for doing it and do not plan on doing so but at the same time keep the option to change this in the future.

If you made this post 3 hrs ago as it says 7:03pm then, you're wrong on your times as the game releases here in Australia in less than 2 hrs and the OP says 10 hrs( from time of the OP's posting) so that would be 5am on Tuesday, it's currently 10:19pm on Monday night here.

He is correct. He said that the Game releases in Australia 10 Hours BEFORE it releases in Europe. He did not say it releases IN 10 Hours, you just read that wrong. Release in AEDT was 32 minutes ago (at the time of this post) and the Game will release in Europe in 9H28M.

Good idea if it actually released on time.... +12gmt here (1:46am) and still can't play it "out of date" due to no day 1 patch.

I have the CD and patched up on PS4 (approx 2.5gb patch). Logged into Ubisoft servers and into the game - no issues. Was about 30 minutes ago? (1315 GMT).

Yeh it seems PS4 is working fine, even released EARLY since its not even march 7 for you yet... PC is not working however.
