I don't have much free time to play being a full-time college student but, when I do play I take the time to master combos, techniques and just overall improve myself a swordsman. I currently am level 10 between 3 different warriors.
Last night I finally got the chance to play with some buddies who have more time to play than me and one of them was a very high prestige Orochi with some gear that allowed him to immediately gain revenge after 2 hits and once in revenge mode, he could kill players rather quickly.
I told him that I don't like how easily people get revenge and that the mechanic on paper sounds good, just doesn't work in this game. I told him that without his revenge mode, he probably wouldn't be able to handle my Orochi.
We dueled with gear stats turned off and I absolutely crushed his Orochi with mine. He didn't even know any of the basic combos or techniques. He literally has put in all these hours and was dominating scoreboards with revenge mode and Orochi's spammy moveset.
Players should not be able to dominate based on their gear. How can a player ever become better when the gear carries them? Revenge mode needs to be reworked or removed.

You're looking at it wrong. Dominion is a whole other game than duels. If you put your time into duels you will propably be less good at dominion, and not only because of gear. You also become less good at ganking, using feats and utilizing environmental hazards. Instead of complaining I plan on trying to learn what works in that mode. And one thing I know works is communication. Get on a Discord and find a team of 4 with mics. You will easily defeat a team of solo players with max gear with superior coordination.

the thing is, there is alot of teaming up in this game, like i dont know when was the last match i played 4v4 mode and fought someone without anybody interrupted xD ..i believe it is ok how it is since everybody are able to get purple gear just by playing and eventually everybody are going to get to 108..as a guy that works 8 hrs every day, i got to rep 5 pretty fast, yes i put some money in my gear just so i can have a chance in that 3v1 situation as soon as possible..the thing is, you can get to 90 gs as soon as you reached rep 3 just by saving salvage and dismantle the loot you got on the road to 3

It is funny i created a post earlier .Where i tryed to point the fact that level prestige 4 and half you have already purple gear.At the end of the lvl 5 with a lil xtra cash you will have your lvl 108.Once you get the purple gear ..it done ! that it!.After purple gear there is nothing else...Purple gear are maxed.Its too quick and to strong.I have around 18 000 in dismantled materials at this rate in 3 month I will have what 100 000 ?
Should have been way more stage of colored gears
Think there is 30 level .At level 5-6 you have everything you need in gears.if you did not put money ad 1 more level.maybe
