    Catapult feat, new meta ?

Well, everytime I am the last stand player of my team, in dominion, or deathmatch, i.... I just kill one, two, three or even four enemy by a catapult strike. Isn't it a bit... WAY overpowered ? Here is a 1min montage where I show a normal day with a catapult strike equipped.Almost 50 kills...

Yeah, the Cataplut strike feels a bit off, to put it lightly.

In my opinion the "Killing Damage" should only apply in the centre, where people standing at the edges should onyl take 25% of the damage (or even less) and people in the middle (between center and edges) should take like 50% damage.

Would still be Powerful enough, but it wont be the Powerful "I win" Button of the Game.

Honestly, i wouldnt mind if they just get rid of this ability, i normally prefer the healing banner because i dont like this one-hit thing.

Yup, when I play warden I use the banner too. But something I use the peacekeeper, and the last laught perk. But since I discovered the Catapult strike power, all changed... I just spam it everytime.
Step 1) Provoc and run into a straight and closed path, followed by all the enemy team
Step 2) Block and get revenge
Step 3) Use the revenge shield to buy you enough time to use the Catapult Strike and Rekt all the team the same time...

Is it really that OP? Whenever I try to smack people with it, even BOTS, they immediately run out of the circle. I keep it, though, since I can at least use it to wipe out a swath of soldiers.

I've had one or two lucky shots where I call it down on my position and have the enemy not run away in time, but that seems to be them purposely ignoring it?

you definitively don't use it right. You have to use it on a closed path, or right after revenge or a stun on the enemy.
Also, when they are 3 or 4 ganking you that's perfect, cause they are so busy focusing on you, their own reflex are negated.

    i find it very op

New meta? Try pre-beta meta. Catapult has always been stupidly op. The way I see it though, with the exception of elimination that most people agree is terrible anyway, dying isn't really that big of a deal in 4v4.

My main gripe is that the other faction versions aren't even with it.

Props for the konosuba reference though.

What's really stupid is the non-knights don't have a great counter to it. The samurai arrow volley does good damage and one shots most people. The Viking fire flask on the other hand is literal dog ****. It's best used in the front just to kill minions. It only does about half a players health IF you can even get them with it. You have to take your time to throw it, wait for it to land, and then charge and explode. The stupid *** catapult comes down almost instantly with a finger wave and one shots everything.

I shall be switching to catapult at once, my master, thank you for your wisdom and guidance.

Compared to the bow that almost one shots me as a lawbringer? I don't see the reason they'd put damaging special moves in the game in the first place, seems kind of COD-like. Most of the perks seems to be poorly thought out in the first place, and encourage shoddy game play. It's not uncommon for me to see full teams of Orochi's running and spamming bows.

Yup knights have easily the best feats and every knight gets them I believe. Pugno Mortis tier 3 does over half health on more characters and hits a huge area and activates too fast to avoid if you aren't already near the edge. Catapult obviously is a bigger longer range 1 shot version of pugno mortis. Then Vikings fire flask is a joke in comparison to catapult, and arrow volley is entirely avoidable most of the time and gives even more time to get out of the area depnding on your position in the aoe and where the arrows start. Again a joke compared to catapult. Samurai's get longbow instead of pugno which doesn;t actually 1 shot hits one target, can easily whiff due to slight elevation differences between you and your target, can be dodged easily on reaction if you see them pull it and will also be blocked by teammates. Its nice but again compared to pugno mortis it's a joke. Vikings don't really have a universal tier 3 that does damage even, think they all get fury at tier 3? Speed and damage buff.

But yes, feats that deal damage were a pretty poor decision for this game in most modes, they often trivialize and rob the enemy team when in breaking situations making that whole system mostly lame and pointless more often than not. Then in elimination where you die once and you're out these damage feats are even more stupid especially since they are fresh off cooldown for every round lol.
