The problem is lawbringer is already pretty good in team fights up there with shugo, so they would need to be reworked and lose some of the prowess they have no for buffs to even be considered. Good LBS will negate revenges and control someone pretty hard to where you might as well alt tab and change song when your getting teamed up on and there is a good LB present

2) Fix his attack speed
3) Give him slightly more damage
After thinking about it for a long time, I think AveImperator85 reached the right conclusion.
I recently saw the devstream and some interviews with some developers, and they noted a few things:
- the Lawbringer is slightly weaker than they'd like
- the Lawbringer has a disproportionate amount of environmental kills compared to 'legit' kills
- the Lawbringer does well in team fights, but not in duels
So whatever buffs to Lawbringer will need to be that will mainly help him in duels, not buff his teamfighting prowess, and not assist with environmental kills. In other words, whatever buffs the Lawbringer will get will benefit him most when he's on his own.
The three buffs AveImperator85 mentioned do this without impacting his team fight capabilities too much.
1) Fixing/Buffing his guard speed helps him out immensely.
As a counter-attacker, it helps him fulfill this role better as he can more quickly switch guards for parries. Reaction time is already a factor; he hardly needs an additional handicap over other classes to try and do what he's supposed to do well.
Defensively, switching guards faster has obvious benefits.
Offensively, being able to switch guards quickly is nice for quickly switching guards before you attack helps when trying to get through someone's guard.
And all these points help when dueling an opponent; when you're to the side of someone (in a team fight), none of the above have an effect. (They also don't have much effect when getting an environmental kill either.) This change would be both the biggest buff to the Lawbringer as well as the buff most in line with what I've seen the devs want.
2) Fixing/Buffing his attack speed is also needed. Being able to quickly switch guards is nice, but won't help much offensively if his attacks are still too slow to pressure the opponent. In addition to increased pressure, faster attacks would allow him to capitalize in more scenarios and better punish opponents with good spacing.
Again, these are things that help him duel opponents and don't affect team fights or environmental kills as much. This would buff the Lawbringer while still keeping him in line with what the devs would want.
3) I agree that buffing his damage is a good idea - but I feel that which attacks need buffed is a sticking point. Honestly, while I'd welcome any damage buffs the Lawbringer gets, I feel the 'on Parry' attacks (Light Riposte, Blind Justice, Impaling Riposte, and the hopefully-fixed-soon Make Way) deserve more attention. Since basically every character can convert a Parry into a heavy attack's worth of damage (Parry > GB > Heavy), Lawbringer's status as a 'counter-attacker' needs to be well-earned. To that end, making all his counter-attacks hit harder seems to be a sensible course of action (especially for the currently pitiful Light Riposte).
While I wouldn't mind additional buffs being given to the Lawbringer, I think the above changes are really all that's needed to bring the Lawbringer back up to where he needs to be.
I hope they reconsider his side light attacks.
He has a poleaxe, why can't he poke at range with it?
It's not the most versatile weapon if it's only limited to close combat...
His long range top heavy has the same range as a wardens top heavy.
That's pittyful for a polearm designed to be able to be useful at longer and closer distances.
I would consider putting the 3rd light from "book, chapter, verse" that does a poke at the first point.
That way the move would make some kind of sense starting at distance and then closing in.
