My selected Weapons:

Sidearm:

The P227 or the P12 will probably be my go-to sidearms. I'll have to play with them to see how I like them. However, I wish they had a Browning Hi-Power available. It's an older design, but FN has modernized it, and it's still a great weapon. Should be in the game since it's still a viable option.

SMG:

It's all about the MP7. Accept no substitutes.

Assault Rifle:

It's hard not to go with the standard M4A1. It's just a superb weapon system all around. So anything I use is likely going to follow its design profile.

Sniper Rifle:

The M14 has been in the fight since the 60's. There's a reason for it.

Light Machine Gun:

Tough call on this one. We only had the one option in the OB, and I was not impressed with it - I'm speaking of game mechanics, here. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the MK249 and the Stoner LMG A1. Outside of that... I dunno. I'm a fan of LMG's in general, but if they don't play well, I'll probably skip over them.

I own a Rem 700 PSS and swapped the default stock for an AICS ATX since a pistol grip was more comfortable and I wanted to be able to use a magazine. I also have a FNX .45 with a suppressor and Trijicon RMR site and a Sig P226 Extreme that I can also use the suppressor for.

I have 2 AR15's which have been customized a bit, one for hip firing/medium ranges with an Aimpoint M4 and laser activated with a pressure switch and a long range version with a nice Leupold scope on it. I also have 2 .22 AR style rifles for plinking. Love these and so do most new shooters.

I have an STI 2011 Tactical in 9mm with the bull barrel which I love since it is in the 1911 frame/style. I use a Sig p2022 for my CCW.
