Seriously, I spent over 10k Steel, I just bought 25k Steel and I can't even get a single Saito gear for my Orochi, I just keep getting the same gear over and over !!
While I see people rep 3 level 1 with full Saito gear.. this is dumb
I'm done buying **** in this game.

Hello.

What is your rep level? Until rep 3 I did not get anything really special. After that, I still get a lot better gear from the actual battles. I got some nice things from boxes as well. Now I am rep 7, and I simply cannot choose what to wear, because everything is just too nice. About the levels, from time to time I get something like lvl 10. In most cases I am getting lvl 14 and 15 - this - since I was rep 5 I think ... ? Not completely sure about this.

--- all of this includes heroic gear, got the complete kusanagi sword already (all of the parts were drops after the battles)

I got 1 herioc gear in all that and it is the Kusanagi Guard with stats that I don't want..

I believe you know this, but just to be sure, you know you can change the looks of it right? Meaning pick a guard that you like stat-wise and change it to Kusanagi, just some level restrictions to do that, but I am sure you will eventually (real soon) get something you want

There is no reason to buy packs with gear under 3 rep. lvl. Ur wasting your steel only.

Here is my plan with gear and gear boxes. Going thru the campaign you get what 6 or 8 boxes out of the breakables? I saved them til rep3. I open a few(2) then continued to play. At the end of the round I got a few more. I started playing another toon and got her to rep3 and opened 2 more. Will get a few more boxes at the end of this round. Will level another to rep3 open 2 more. I will rinse and repeat and will have no need to spend any steel or real money on boxes and will still be satisfied.

This may not be a good idea but it works for me.

I have to call total BS on this as it is simply NOT possible. Premium crates drop 2 GUARANTEED high level gear, which (if you are really rep 4) would obviously consist of heroic gear and nothing less than that. You said you spent 10k on them, which is 20 crates. That's already 40 GUARANTEED heroic gears. So yeah, i call BS on this.

I already did my campain and used the free drop crates. When I say heroic gear and Speaking about the one with the star in the name.
EDIT: And as I said, I am trying to get the Saito gear, which I didn't get a single one of the set.

I'm Rep 4 (almost 5) and haven't seen one "star" gear either and have seen a fair amount of gear through either crates or scavenging with steel. RNG is a harsh and fickle mistress, always has been and always will be.
