    FC3 Won't Load. Crashes After First Loading Screen.

    Hello. I have one of the biggest issues known for FC3. I'll explain my problem. I played for an hour. Quit the game. I loaded the game back up the next day, and it launched the first loading screen, went to a black screen for a few seconds, and then it brings me back to the UPlay dashboard. I have tried every compatibility version there is. Tried launching it through manually as an administrator through the farcry3_d3d11 file, doesn't work with any other compatibility issue. I dug a little deeper. Forgive me, I'm just a basic knowledge tech person, but I read that DX11 running with this game through Win 10 is an issue with some gpu. Well I found out that some people got the game working by changing a command line in the GamerProfile.xml file. I checked ALL my files that pertains to FC3, as well as UPlay. It's not there. I created the file in my FC3 folder. Did the right command that helps with either the DX11 issue or the compatibility issue and nothing happened. I just find it odd that mostly everyone I'm assuming had the file, but I didn't. Here's what was suggested for DX11 users only:

    Solution 2(Directx11 Only):
    1. Navigate to here
    Code:

    "C:\Users\[user name]\Documents\My Games\Far Cry 3"

    2. Open this file with Notepad "GamerProfile.xml"
    3. Search for this "D3D11MultithreadedRendering"
    4. Make sure it is Set to "0" which will disable it.
    5. It now should look like this:
    Code:

    D3D11MultithreadedRendering="0"

    6. Go File>Save then Close Notepad; Run your game and Enjoy.

    And my problem is I don't have that GamerProfile.xml file. Is this the issue? Is anyone on the same page as me? Windows 10 user, tried compatibility switching, missing the gamerprofile file? Oh! and I turned off the tablet process in my task manager. Doesn't do anything. I really need help please. Also, my PC can run anything so I know that's not the issue. All my drivers are up to date. Thanks!

    what vid card do you have ?

    if its an Nvidia card disable Nvidia geforce experience

    if its AMD contact AMD support it could be a driver issue

    if its an intel onboard vid chip .. give up ..they are NOT supported

    also check your backround applications and disable any extra in game overlays that may be causing the game to hang
