I love to read on the forums those that feel people should be punished for leaving matches when its stupid and ridiculous. I'll admit and say it outright. I leave plenty of matches. There. Go have a fit while I finish this post.

In team based matches (since they separated game modes) I stay in them once I queue in. HOWEVER, if I'm queued into a losing match. Why stay? Now, I do stay for a bit to see if I can turn the game around, but if even with my ability of playing my class well and knowing what to do still doesn't budge the team to rally or the points to make a win feasible. I'm leaving. Sue me. I'm not gonna queue into a match and lose.

Secondly, if I'm on a team and my whole team decides to quit, either by game error or them leaving on their own accord then I will also leave BECAUSE as hard or as challenging a bot is at level 3. It really is just a bot and does have some flaws to work around easy for human players like baiting. Bots can always be baited and killed easily and then the focus is on me. Not gonna happen.

Now for duels and brawls. You really expect me sometimes to sit in games where the opponent is being especially trashy and not even worth being in the lobby with? It is a game right? Its about fun right? No matter if I leave round 1 due to a cheap death or the fact my enemy is being BS by running around in circles only to light attack every so often and be a cheap spammer. It isn't worth my time. So I leave. I leave to a better match. What's the deal? I don't play the game to deal with garbage and I will leave when I so well please.

No, there does not need to be a steel penalty for leaving. No,there does not need to be a time penalty to join PvP games. (and honestly you'll get WAY more XP in PvE and don't have to deal with players BS so woo big penalty here) There does not need to be a little marker that says I leave matches because you deem so because it helps do what exactly? If you see that emblem what does that do for you?

Lastly as I close this out. The penalty system can't be implemented because of how frequent server drop outs are. If you are really wanting to punish people that leave. I truly hope you get punished so much when your game drops that you start to then whine over the penalty that you and many others wanted so very much, but can't comprehend that game drops are common, but I don't wanna derail the topic as this is mainly for those that LEAVE on their own.

Don't agree with me? Don't care. Stating something on a post. I'm not asking you to agree either. Just putting out some opinions on how I feel about all the other threads of this topic are and so I'm creating the opposite. Enjoy.

i agree with you, currently the game is in flux, between losing players or keeping the die hard fans of the game.

if you wana start punishing ppl for wanting to enjoy the game, thats a dangerous move, with all the dc's and errors currently in game, ubisoft wont have the resources/time to sift through potential leavers or ppl that was dc due to game error, and from what ive seen in the posts, this is not a major problem currently, the major problem are the p2p servers just doesnt cope.

fix that system first before wanting to punish "leavers"

the issue is disconnectors quite often cause either the game to close, lag or auto kick other players

and or replace you with a bot that gets rofl stompd and gives the enemy faction ez points in pvp

I agree, but the majority of those guys are too stupid to change their NAT and think Ubisoft will fix it for them...

As for 1vs1, it depends. As beginner I dont want to be destroyed by a high PK. Clearly, if MM trolls me, I quit. Otherwise I take the challenge as it comes.

True and on my main I don't care but if I'm doing vanguard contracts and my kensei is low level and I'm getting rep 8 match ups it's BS

I quit duels and brawls too, but rarely do I okay then unless I have a contract or my buddy wants to grab some duos.

As you are voluntary offering your system as a server for up to 7 other players, you have the responsibility to keep this service up until it is no longer needed.

If you want to quit matches, then i want you not having the privilege of shared host.

Okay. Cool. So stay when my whole team quoits it drips and it's just me on a team of bots? Games get dropped so often. What's another game? I shouldn't be forced to stay cuz of you. It's Ubi that doesn't have dedicated servers so deal with it.

I'm not gonna take a loss that I can't prevent. If I start a game fresh and I lose cool, but mid game and losing. No, even if you can't see my stats I'm not gonna show up a a drag race mid race losing or at a golf tourney down 39 points. I'm not taking a loss for no reason. So if I can't turn a loss into a win withing a few minutes. Bye.
