My opponent got REVENGE mode in 1v1 Duel mode | Forums

I didn't know it was possible to activate revenge mode in a 1v1 duel.. I was fighting an orochi, got him 2 rounds prior, and when I was about to kill him the third round, he popped revenge, and killed me. (it was a tight spot we were fighting in, so I had no way to get distance). The next round I asked him how it was possible he got revenge mode during a duel, and he just did the quick chat "good fight". and disconnected from the match before I could get his name. Is this a thing now? I don't know how many duels I've fought (more than 100, I imagine) and never saw revenge activate before. Anyone else seen this happen in a duel?

If a player is defending a lot and getting a lot of blocks/parries they can eventually get revenge in a 1v1. Either let them attack and you go for parries or something for a bit so their revenge meter can lower, or get through their defense and kill them faster. Throwing yourself against solid defense for too long = revenge.

high level items give more revenge by blocking and getting hit.

its pretty dumb but yeah ive seen revenge gained 2-3 times before killing one person even in 1 vs 1. the higher level you get the more you will see revenge builds.

If you have played over 100 duels and only had one pop revenge, I'd say GG to that. I play people who get it every other game.

Gear stats don't apply to 1v1 duels. He was just fighting a defensive player who was good at being just that.

Well, lucky for me the Lawbringer can cheese them until Revenge run out.
