The Buff for 1v1 LB is coming

In a recent livestream the devs stated, that they are aware of the somewhat poor state of the Lawbringer.
They looked at their data and realized, that most kills caused by the LB are environmental kills.
In order to fix this problem, they appareantly want to add some damage to his arsenal to make him more viable in 1v1 Situations

I don't think LB gets as many environmental kills because he's relying on it, but because it's generally easier for LB to do it compared to others. With block shove and impaling riposte, LB has more opportunities to get kills this way.

As LB main the biggest issue i have is not being able to block fast enough for PK and Orochi, it turns into a guessing game of where he will attack next.

Apart from that, is there any other problem? From what I see in 1v1 and 2v2 he is pretty strong. I only play against him so thats why I ask. From my point of view he needs a chill pill cause if I get grabbed my stamina goes white and my HP is gone.

Along with the damage increase, they need to take out differentiating guard switch speeds as the quick characters, such as PK, can destroy a Raider and LB without them being able to react at all.

    Yes hands down!

The one glaring weakness is his inability to confirm damage without playing completely reactionary. I've mained Lawbringer since release but had to gradually give up and go with a safer option to main for this one fact. Anyone at higher levels with a moderately level head knows the Lawbringer needs you to attack so he can exploit it in some way. His attacks are extremely telegraphed not only by the slow speed and obvious windup but also by the growls and grunts from swinging such a heavy weapon. Feints come so slowly and early that anyone paying attention will see them for what they are.So knowing this the enemy needs only to make sure they attack safely and know to not overextend themselves. And should they open themselves frankly his move set for punishing these openings is lacking. Yes his kit can see full use after a light parry but with a stance switch speed as slow as his I find the risk in the attempt often outweighs the reward. I do not in any way advocate increasing his speed but I do see giving him an ability or sort of passive that lets him have some form of offensive buff would be greatly beneficial. What immediately comes to mind would something uninterruptible in his kit similar to the Warlord and Shugoki that would at least allow him to trade blows with the faster classes when he does decide to put fourth any form of aggression.

He is extremely easy to counter. If you are getting hit by unblockable shove or flip, all you need to do is dodge when you see the animation. its usually easy to avoid. The spear at the beginning is slightly harder to dodge.
