well you still dont get that they are useless dont you?

You see a Zerker every now and then, but even that is super rare. Assassins just aren't good against characters that can drain their stamina in 2-3 moves, dump them on their heads, and kill them before they get up. Most of the big 4 don't even attack at first, they just use bully tactics to drain you of your stamina so you're helpless, then proceed to finish you off before you have a chance to recover.

Unless you've had the pleasure of fighting someone who doesn't need to attack (in the beginning) to win, and their entire gameplan revolves around quickly draining you of your stamina, then you seriously have no clue.

Assassins are easy prey to the big 4.
I agree completely. Zerker zone attack and zone retreat allow them to do a little better than the other two in high end duels I think...massive stamina drain, but highly effective (especially the retreat) in the right situation.

The massive damage a lucky overhand lands is pretty nice too.

I need to WORK like a mofo for those wins too...almost always 4 or 5 rounds, even versus dudes who I KNOW I am much better than mechanically. Zerker light attack is too damned slow, it just is.

In order, my toughest match-ups are great Shugokis, Conqs, WLs, Wardens...by far.

I feel like the flash on meth swatting at superman trying to beat a shugoki. I'm actually sweating at the end of those matches from all the dodges, feints, backrolls, and moving around I need to do. While he waits for a single mistake or parry opportunity.
I absolutely agree. I fell to 81.5% and I don't really duel any more on the Zerker because I don't like it. It honestly just isn't fun when you run into the exact same 4 classes that all play the same, over and over and over.

Never being able to actually attack, having to stay way outside, then feint weird attacks that would never land (hoping they'll believe it's legit and react to it, rather than just spamming their uninterruptible attacks that you can't dodge), then rely on your reflexes to react to however they were going to react to your feint... if they were just going to block, you dodge, hope they don't GB, then start over... it's seriously insane. Totally different than normal gameplay.

At least it's actually fun fighting good Wardens. They actually have to fight. The other 3 just rely on cheap gimmicks, spams, and really don't even have to attack.

I'll agree that the "Big 4" are easily stomping all over every other hero right now. Fortunately, games are designed to appeal to a great many people, since that's what pays the bills. All the elitist *****s up in their ivory towers: nobody cares about you. The game is balanced around the average player, not the top, most elite professionals in the world.

Not necessarily true. Most games? Absolutely. Games that actually want to get huge? Well, look at the e-sports out there. The most played video game in the world is LoL, and they cater to the elite crowd perfectly.

If FH wants to get huge and have an active e-sport scene, it'll cater to the spikes rather than the scrubs.

Dude is sitting at the same crap win rate as the rest of you, so he's matched against people that don't abuse the mechanics of those classes. 65% win rate is still that zone where he's pub stomping noobs effortlessly. Then again, it's showing his win rate across the board, so his win rate on duel might be better. Until we actually have the ability to see someone's win rate on specific modes, those stats do nothing.

Also, he has a better win rate with the LB, which completely contradicts the idea that assassins are OP. Especially since his Orochi win rate is only 50% lol.

I haven't played LoL in almost a decade, due to it being THE single most toxic community I've ever seen in my 31 years. As such, I can't speak for the current state of it, but last I played, LoL and Smite didn't make all their balance decisions around the world championship tournaments. People would try to emulate the pros after tournaments, sure, and that would give the devs more metrics to work with, and THEN they would make adjustments as they deemed necessary.

I would propose that FH is beginning to give LOL a toxic community/toxic in-game banter run for their money. Sure we need to refine our trolling and insults, but for such a new game we're doing pretty good in that department, maybe one day if we all keep it up, we'll get there.

What does that have to do with anything? They still built the most played game in the world around the idea that it should be an e-sport that is balanced across the board, for all skill levels.

Exactly. "For ALL skill levels." Not just the top elite.
