Greetings all!
Was playing just now and instead of just 1 player being AFK, I had two! Needless to say, we couldn't cover every objective. I reported both players in-game for "cheating" and avoiding the AFK kick. I really enjoy this game despite some of it's more obvious flaws- but getting into a match after some matchmaking issues only to get paired with AFK players is fairly annoying. Sometimes I feel the in-game ban systems did not work as intended and wanted to go ahead and put their names out there just in case. Maybe someone from Ubisoft will lookup the names and reports and actions will be taken.
Uplay names: Matty602, Misturugi-
Cheers!

So after I made the prior post about the 2 AFK players. My following matchup contained 2 DIFFERENT AFK players again.
Uplay names: Mavericklunar, Teddyyy7
Hopefully a kind staff member as Ubisoft will recognize my frustration with Back-to-Back matchups containing 2 AFK players.
Regardless, image below.
Cheers, again...

So for the THIRD time in a row for matchmaking- I've had TWO AFK players. I'm not sure what to think at this point. 1 was meh, 2 was odd/rare it felt, but for this 3rd time... I feel it's a joke.
Uplay names: Kantus-Hugger, Lincanator
Now granted, after we decided to report- Kantus-Hugger returned to tell us the reporting wasn't going to work and to "shove a rod up [our] arse." and started to play. So I am unsure what to make of that besides to avoid any sort of ban to happen. "Great I am going to get reported- better pretend to care now" type of mindframe.
Both were initially walking forward at intervals. Hard to stay motivated to play at night with 3 back-to-back matches all featuring different players.
Regardless, Cheers...

Yes except the fact they are using automation to skirt the AFK kick system. They're not contributing to the game and essentially "botting" their levels. It only has a negative affect on the team and the win/lose ratios of their teammates.Originally Posted by BigFatMonsterCZ Go to original post
Let's take a look at some things. Figuratively, you're a new player. So your first matches will likely be against AI to get a hang of things before diving into the deep end. EVERY match I've played tonight consisted of AFK players. If a new player was to experience this and the possibility of an overwhelming loss- that would impact their view of the game.
You also have to ask yourself, should we reward these players with experience, gear, in-game currency for increasing the workload of other players? Sure- most of the time it is against the AI but still, there's systems in place for fair game and this is avoiding the detection of said systems. Simply get rid/ban those who choose to not play fairly.
Whats to say about the MMR system? Does the help or hurt their MMR? A 108 REP 9 player who botted their account in PvAI and now playing in PvP gamemodes where gear matters... is that fair to lower MMR players to get stomped? Sure the system will eventually correct itself and they will be placed in the right area of their skill/GS but that may take awhile.
Point is, this doesn't help. It only hurts the playerbase and it is deterring in-game mechanics for fair play. It should be ban worthy. I appreciate the benefit of doubt you give these players. But 7 different queues/rooms total tonight, every single one of them had AFK players. Only 1 became responsive when we discussed reporting.

this became a plague already, cannot find any game without at least one...
nuff said they earn a report every time (just got one where I was the only active player out of 4...), as you say they are definitely fitting the description of cheating, bypassing the system to avoid being kicked of the games and cheating their way to the rank/steel/items.
GOOD NEWS!
Ubisoft has responded to this issue on Reddit. The following link is the response and actions being taken: https://www.reddit.com/r/forhonor/co...g_afk_farming/
Thank you everyone that has continuously been reporting. Hope to see you all in game.
