Can't happen, Light attack doesn't link into SB.

Heavy Attack links into SB, dash links into SB, but not LA.

If he LAs, he has to dash to use another SB, and thus you just watch for the dash then prepared to dash left or right.

Wrong... that´s one thing why the warden is that strong with easy moves... he can chain LA - SB - LA - SB all day long...

It's still possible to parry the conqueror's heavy attack during that combo. The timing of it is just a little tricky.

But the OP was talking about Conqueror.

The Conqueror has to link HA->SB->HA->SB

He can't do it with LA. It's semantics of course, but pay attention =)

You can also dodge the shield bash itself, but most people look to block the next attack and then get shield bashed and then get flummoxed and frustrated and start raging, which is exactly what the CQ wants, as you won't stay calm and simply block the HA or dodge the bash.

Shield bash has very low tracking and a significant windup.

I find it very easy to dodge.

If you are having trouble dodging it, it's you... not the conq.

Literally the only time I get hit by shield bash is if I use a tech and he dodges it and bashes me in recovery frames.

Headbutt for instance has significantly higher tracking and needs significantly more precise timing to dodge.

you need to get out of the corner, running and using rolls. He'll be able to get a few hits in, but that's what you get for bad positioning (yeah, I know sometimes you can't chose your positioning)

Try to block the attack. If you do, use a quick attack immediately to stop their charge. Then try and dodge out or take initiative.
