    Is there a way to get a refund? The game has become unplayable suddenly.

    So I played the beta heavily. I found that I had to shut down some background applications but the game ran fine, 60FPS style smooth. I expected some change with release, but nothing like this...

    So first day of release play- installing - the game recommends me to play on High - I quickly alter this to the settings I had in Beta - As I know it was smooth with those.
    The game played. No problems. Little story, little online, then life took over.


    Not sure when, but a patch or something occurred. Now, I cannot play the game. I get around 5FPS - no matter what I turn off, disable, or shut down. The PC even shut down all anti-virus, all browsers and background programs not in use by Windows itself, and still cannot play.

    I double checked the system requirements, but they haven't changed. (as in, they were announced, the game was purchased, the game played, the game became unplayable, the system requirements did NOT change) My PC obviously hasn't gotten any better or worse as no hardware, software, or other changes have been made.

    I tried updating drivers, uninstalling everything and reinstalling everything (including OS, complete Format) and still - nothing. I believe I have now spent more hours Troubleshooting why the game won't run, compared to playing it.

    So I am left with a heavy heart, I can either spend $60+ and try to Upgrade this PC to it's absolute maximum (overclocking, new RAM, etc) in HOPES it plays even on "minimum" settings, or.... I can try for a refund.

    As I don't have the money to "gamble updating" - I want to try the refund route.... but.... for the life of me, I can't find a single help on this. The site is a mess, I have been redirected in loops for "contact us" support, and haven't gotten any replies, so I come to the forums.

    Anyone help in this matter? Link to support preferred, but a simple walk through where I can contact someone to get this started would also be acceptable.

    Honestly not happy with Ubisoft/Uplay system, I tolerated before simply because "I wanted to play the games" but now I think I may not come back to anything they make/host.


    TL; DR,
    My PC meets specs to play
    My PC played beta fluidly
    I played a little after release
    -an update or other change occurred-
    The game has become unplayable
    No changes in system specs required
    No changes in PC (it literally sat turned off)
    Full Uninstall/Reinstall of Drivers, Game, and OS didn't fix it.

    I agree I'm on the forums now because it keeps crashing all my other games work fine

    alt+tab while in game and go to task manager. click on the details tab and find forhonor.exe. right click and set priority to lower than normal or low, and then set affinity and uncheck one of the processors (i unchecked processor 7). This fixed the stuttering for me.
    PS. you have to do this everytime you restart the game.

    ^ the above steps fixed my frame issue maybe it will help you

    If you bought from steam you can get a refund, go through the process on the steam client, I've done it numerous times with other games and they haven't turned me down once for my refund.

    Funny thing is PC isn't the only platform with performance problems. Was in a dominion match with a buddy earlier on Xbone, and both of our frame rates were kinda choppy, and there was screen tearing. I managed, but my buddy was getting screwed over because of it. So many bugs, this game has, lol.

    Well i am under min specs for this game but its ran fine for 60 hours ish.
    Since the patch tho i can not even play any game mode as it always stays on a black screen at end of round. At this point i would like to get a refund too due to the game being unplayable NOT only the broken lack of matchmaking meaning using anything other then my main class would just be stupid unless i want to do duel only.
    So I have a game i can not play due to black screen mid matches Witch when the contracts to lvl are elimination... Not fun!

    so I tried it like I said no interruptions in five games still going works great thank you thank you
