Simple solution to the terrible turtle game this has become. Right now defense rules this game, there is no punishment for blocking. Try and guradbreak and they just counter. Sure you can feint all day but it's boring and doesn't work forever.
When you block it should chip away at your health. Not much, a few points here and there. That way you can't just turtle and counter, you have to be active.
Classes like Nobushi or Lawbringer have no way to open up turtles, it's painful and boring.

You realize defense isn't automatic, right? I'm actually reacting to you as a conqueror or whatever else. You don't get to have a free hit on me simply because you fail to break my defenses. I agree lawbringer needs buffed but mostly in their ability to attack, not break guard, etc.
Do you change your attack pattern? Do you gb at a well timed moment and not a foot away from my character as you itch up giving your strategy away? You don't want to feign?
If you're sitting their banging on my shield then you're doing exactly what I want. You can break defenses in this game but your reaction time and ability has to be better than the defender. I just wonder how valid half the complaints about defense are.
Actualy Conquerors with the Passive where they get health back everytime they block IS a bit nasty + vengeance gear and it will take ages to kill one x.x IF he not decides to faceroll you with Shield charge into heavy spam the momment your not looking......Originally Posted by DovaahisPGM Go to original post
