Ok, this entire thread is just a salty Warlord whining about getting killed because he can't figure out to move when the red circle flashes under his feet. We're done here.

That's what we call an Ad hominem. You've contributed nothing to the discussion.

I have listed several reasons there's nothing wrong with catapult. You're just whining because you got killed by it. You complain that it shouldn't 1-shot, no matter how hard to land, yet you play the hero that is easiest to cheese people off ledges and into spikes. This has nothing to do with Top 4, nothing to do with faction Feat imbalance, this entire thread is YOU whining about how OP catapult is when everyone here has given you plenty of reasons it's not OP, but you don't want to listen.

I'm not saying it is hard. I'm just saying that the hit rate on catapult is without a doubt lower than the hit rate on longbow and targeted feats.

Catapult is also a tier 4 skill with a significantly longer cooldown than the target feats. Which generally means it is a once per match or less skill unless you get a feat power-up. Which like I said are just obnoxiously OP.

I'm ok with tier 4 feats being a little crazy. I'm a lot less ok with tier 2 and 3 feats being game breaking like many are.

IMO, feat power-up should give you only 1-2 feat level bonus but for a significant period of time. Or better yet just get rid of them all together.

During breaking you are forced to fight with your team. If not, you get swarmed. It's very easy to land. I could say the same that you just don't want knights adjusted or looked at in anyway. Also, fyi, I'm a rep 3 warlord. I also have a shugoki at rep 3, and have several other characters including valk rep 1 or higher. This isn't a "im a warlord and never want to die". It's literally unhealthy that there are 4 classes in the game that have bombs and catapults. On top of that, they are also the most spam heavy classes lol. If warlord was a knight, it would complete ****/spam show, I know. He's a viking, I'm sorry.

I understand where you're coming from. Personally, I think it's cool that a warlord can do a little more dmg with attacks. Previous to getting gear...those were some LONG fights. I also like the idea that conqueror can do damage with shield bash. Just adds flavor. It would be different if it was rare that games were decided by bombs/catapult spam. However, oftentimes in Dominion, whichever team has the most knights stacked, will win. Today alone, I have had 3 games that were decided by catapult spam. It seems fine until you play against people who are decent enough to, a majority of the time, land their bombs.

How can you argue that a skill shot is harder to land than a tracking shot? I'd prefer the javelin, axe or bow over the one time use catapult any time but that's just me.

I actually think Kensei's unblockable attacks are a perfect example of a final feat. It works within the normal game mechanics instead of adding a new gimmick and can be countered through methods you're accustomed to (avoidance/parrying). But it suits the character and their design.

The duration is a little long so that could be toned down, though I don't think that's an issue. It is supposed to be strong as a final ability since it's for late-game and you must work the most to get it.

I'd like to see more traits like those or like Orochi's "Slip Through" which gives an attack buff after dodging. Working in cohesion with normal mechanics and character designs to enhance specific aspects of a hero's playstyle.

    Yeah. I could see that.

Though giving the unblockable feat to the character who's light attacks deal almost as much damage as heavy attacks is a little nuts.

If you gave that feat to say lawbringer or shugoki I don't think I'd mind at all.

How about we mention that the Raider has a firebomb too, while Valkyrie and Berserker both get stupidly strong projectiles in Tomahawk and Javelin?

No? Just wanna whine about Knights from your pedestal as Cheese King? Ok.

Honestly, anybody who plays Warlord doesn't get to complain about balance.
Anybody who plays Warlord can and will get to complain about balance. Sure, there is a slight damage boost and damage reduction, but it is needed considering weeb light spamming Orochi can throw Kunai and shoot with a Longbow to cowardly take down anyone from a distance. Or Valk with Scout and Javelin to oneshot anyone. Or anyone with a Catapault to oneshot anyone without Revenge. Or anyone with the insta health restores that can heal over half their health during a fight. Or Berserker who gets a damage, movement, stamina, and poison boost on top of the spam they can already dish out. Or even Conqueror, who can passively heal just by blocking attacks.

Everyone has OP feats, everyone needs their OP feats to attempt to counter other people's OP feats
