Warden is no longer fun/ Half the game for me is now undesireable to play

Hey all, So I would like to bring this to attention seeing as since the update from the 28th, warden (My main) has become no longer fun to play. From the launch of the game Warden has been an amazing character to play as and was the first character I fell in love with. His sword play was perfect and if you met a player that liked to "dishonorably?" spam move such as throws or consistent spinning attacks, you could punish them. All an all warden has been my favorite character to main and an amazing play. But literally for the last three days I have actually been raging at the game. here is what I have notice and I hope is improved upon for the sake of me continuing to play what I think is an amazing game with some brilliant potential behind it.

1: Since the patch I have noticed many things about the Warden. First off, heavy attacking after a grab is near pointless. Previous to these last three days, a heavy attack could easily be followed up with after a successful grab and then bounced away from. Now of course there is the argument that an attack like that shouldn't be available to the Warden, and here is my argument. Many other classes such as the Shugoki, Crusader, Law Bringer and Valkyrie and various others ALL have attacks that stun/ knock down/ or disorient an opponent and are followed up by a near unlockable attack that unless successfully parried is incredibly devastating. For the Warden's heavy attack to be consistently blocked over and over makes that form of attack pointless. This leaves the only option to be the quick attack. Which barely does enough damage to be useful, can be easily blocked, and leaves the warden open to various forms of counter attacks and other assaults that have made the character less then desirable to play. I would also like to point out to the developers, that making the counter attack super devastating is not the answer, as natural game latency makes it an unreliable form of attack and fighting against characters like the Orochi and Berserker whom practically rely on spinning and dash attacks indcredibly difficult to battle against. not that i dont like to fight against them, but its a point that needs to be made. (what am I going to do, switch to an orochi?) Which brings me up to my second point.

2: Since the latest patch I have also noticed that the Warden is NO LONGER effective and blocking. In fact, I have found that when under an assault by an orochi, valkrie or a peacekeeper, or a decent berserker, my best hope is that they make the mistake of trying to attack from the top, and land a successful counter strike. For it seems that the Warden is no longer able to keep up with blocks. (AND I HAVE VIDEOS OF THE RIGHT STICK INDICATOR IN POSITION TO GUARD AND NO GUARD COMING UP SO DONT YOU DARE TRY AND TELL ME ITS ME.) I'm not sure if the recent patch has anything to do with it, but it is a game killing issue for me. In fact, For Honor has been my go to game for several weeks now simply to get that honorable dueling fix. Immersion is a key reason I buy games and prior to the 28th, I was sold from warden gameplay alone, and as of late, For Honor has failed to do that for me. I like to think of myself a fair player and prior to the last three days, I was completely able to say "Yep, this guy is a better player then me." EVEN FOR OROCHIS and accept defeat. As of late its been nothing but questioning game mechanics or latency issues. I'm not sure what the case is, but as a guy who has mained the warden since the beta and launch of the game (I believe he was perfectly fine at launch) I can definatly say, SOMETHING HAS CHANGED AND IT HAS MADE THE GAME UNDESIERABLE TO PLAY FOR ME.

    3. This is a little game analysis and psychology from me to the devs. I fight for the Knights. They appeal to me for their cause and the luster of the idea of a noble disciplined warrior going into battle in the name of peace. And among most knights the warden is rather appealing to that. not to bash on the rest of the characters, but to break it down, The Conqueror is widely recognized as being a cheap play. And most people don't like to fight against them because of their move set. Which leaves people who play knights for the honorable appeal to either the Peacekeeper, Law Bringer, or the Warden, Now the Lawbringer is indeed one of the most difficult characters to play as which can leave him un-preferred amongst players. This drops down to two options. The Warden and the Peacekeeper. Now amongst the community I can see that the peacekeeper is played by players with a more active style of play. Which leaves Wardens as the thinkers. with that being said, in the current state of play, the warden is now undesirable for play. Which drops the number of knights, which in turn effects faction war. (What's the point of playing for a faction if the characters are all not fun to play or you feel dirty playing them?) Low numbers of knights Plus characters that are either to difficult to play casually, or are out classed by other factions characters = constant losses which lead to players either not playing the game or switching factions. (And historically with fighting games throwing your controller into the wall and saying F this game is much easier then saying "I'm going to continue playing this game but go with a different faction. Just look at Mortal Kombat X) Which to me predicts the down fall of a huge player base for For Honor.

I hope that my concerns have shed some light on the current state of the warden.
If anything I would love to hear some feedback from the Developers in the current state of the Warden as this is a pivotal point in my continuation of playing the game. YOUR MICRO TRANSACTIONS ARE ON THE LINE!!!!!!

I would also like to point out, I am not a developer. I am a player. you know stuff I don't and have options in mind that I don't know or think about. In all fairness. I am rarely on forms, and For honor has struck a chord with me. And I would really hate to see a game I used to get so much enjoyment out of go under the table for me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post!
    Sincerely,
    A friendly Warden.

I have notice recently that I am having issues with blocking and parrying as well.

Before I didn't have any of these issues. Things that I could block before, just impossible or very hit or miss.

I feel like something changed, but nothing in patch notes to denote that.

Out of everything that has indeed been the biggest issue. I have browsed through patch notes and looked up as much as I could but in the last three days its just been an absolutely terrible experience. Its almost as if the character himself is not quick enough to move his sword. (was the character model slowed?) Or keep up with the parrying. and on top of that heavy attacks no longer connect after a grab move. (Easily blocked)

feels good to be on the other side huh?
I mean Wardens were never mentioned on the patch so IDK if they actually changed something. But for me it's comon to not block attacks that I certainly have made the imput to block it previously to the attack. looking like some characters are way faster than others ( or maybe its latency)
Anyways assassins and Wardens allways felt too fast for me.. I don't agree with but I understand that assassins are the quicker classes.. but why the hell a warden would be faster than a Kensei, Nobushi or Valkyrie?( I mean "realisticaly" speaking)
Anyway I agree that Wardens were on the top tier list and one of the few characters that can battle an assassin on equel ground. but that doesn't mean he is balanced within the rest of the cast.

don't compare his should bash with conqueror's, Valkyrie's, Nobushi's kick or any other character with similar attack.. all those moves are too slow and it's actually the moment people will roll out of your combo! that never happens to wardens because their shoulder bash is unrealisticly to fast and far(he slides! while other characters do steps and a small jump) the only one that has something like this but even faster is the Warlord headbutt! all the other characters have a useless attack.

Anyway Im glad shoulder bash, gb, hard attack loop isn't viable anymore. (if they'd fixed GB it wouldn't be viable anyways.. but even better if a hard hit can't conect after)

In all fairness then it should be recognized that the nubushi's unblockable guardbreak heavy combo is overly powerful then now because it is too fast to dodge from and any knockdown attack such as the valk's unblockable swing is indeed over the top. On top of that I would also say that by that logic of balancing then It would make playing the warden pointless if he can't successfully follow up with blocking the most commonly used characters and their fast paced game play. by that you leave only peacekeepers amongst the Knights faction to deal with Orochi's, Nubushi, Berserkers and Valkyries. (This is also why I said What am I going to do play as an Orochi? There would be no solid warrior class for the knight. Unless you would rather be stuck fighting Conquerors for the rest of the game.) I'm all for a fair fight, but where is the fair ness when the player is fast enough to see an oncoming attack and block it, but the character he plays isn't fast enough to defend it? That should be purely skill based. for medium and light characters. That's why heavy's have mass damage and disabling/counter abilities. To open up those opportunities to land their slow and heavy blows. (just incase you wanted to bring up that argument.) And not its not about being on the other side. In fact I would say that it was you who needed the fix and not the Warden who needed the change. One of the hard parts about fixing a game like this, is you have to decide whether there is a real issues amongst the community of people are just whining.

Out of anything that truly needs to be fixed. The warden's blocking is now broken and there is indeed an issue with it.

    Update:
After several more matches I believe I have found the problem that has been troubling me about the Warden and has broken his gameplay entirely for me. When subject to multiple hits from fast hitting characters or even heavies, the warden enters a "state" where he cant bring up his guard. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be implemented. But the natural latency of the game has made it so that the warden is completely useless.
