    Horrible Matchmaking

Could you folks do something about the matchmaking? It seems extremely ridiculous that just because I bought the game a week after everyone else I should constantly be pitted against teams that completely outclass me. Many times I see teams with every character sporting "prestige" rank vs. team without a character with one. This makes the game extremely un-fun to play. Matchmaking should pit players of equal skill, not just send new players to the slaughter.

Rank doesn't mean anything. That no prestige guy on your team could have a prestige 9 main for all you know.

That said, the matcher is pretty ****.

Would you like to wait hours for a match? How about 15 minutes? The matchmaking will pull you together with other users that are currently looking fo ra match, the thing is there are only so many people available granted levels and time spent are all over the place. If you want a fair matchmaking service, better be prepared to wait an upwards of 10 minutes before each game starts.

Rank tells you how mutch they have played the class. usually higher lvl means you are better than lower lvl dudes. currently the MM looks only your combined prestige/highest lvl hero. so you cant really try any new heroes. My gaming is on hold until the MM is fixed

Don't be discouraged. The matchmaking is practically just generating lobbies with random people so far, but equip and renown make little difference (not so much to be significant, except revive speed and revenge gain). I'm renown 2 with 37 (or something like that) gear on my main, and I consistently kick 6-9 renowns assess and sometimes get mine kicked by "lowbies".
Gameplay execution is 95% of this game, stats are, imho, temptations to make people spend money for currency.

Cannot agree here - just played against 108lvl equip warlord with lowbie valk. It is painful since im doing 1/2 bar damage on light hit, and he 3 shots me (2 shots in revenge, entered after 3 hits from me). Not impossible, but so annoyng - he takes no effort in killing me while im tryharding.
Equipment is a big problem right now, starting purple (with 2 + stats), wish it wasnt there, or atleast was less OP.

You are comparing the maximum and the minimum, yet it's "not impossible, but so annoying". I think you're actually proving my point.

In case i have enough time to dance around and wait for revenge to end, which is only happens in 1v1 situation at the end of round or if enemy team waiting for duel to end. Sadly, this happens rarely. Most of the time its up for rest of the team to win or lose their part.
I get it, skill is more important, but its like fighting against cheater, who does double damage and has sh*tton of HP, exept its legit in current build. Maximum and minimum is too far from each other.

Raider can oneshot my warden with his own feat buffing damage. You wanna nerf that too?

Equipment need to have meaning. The numbers aren't as high as you make them sound, which (as I said) is proved by your own ability of defeating a 108 (maximum) with your "noob" char (which I'm assuming is between 0 and 20 itmlvl).
Revenge gain and revive speed are the only 2 stats seriously affecting the game. The rest is just "a bit more" which you can handle even while "naked".

The issue isn't in the gear, but in the matchmaking.
You are not supposed to face lvls 108 when gray geared, but it's still manageable.

Sure, it would be obviously more enjoyable to have balanced matches, but we'll need a matchmaking that actually makes sense.

Or you could play duels and brawls, no equipment there (and they are much more enjoyable than 4v4s imho, especially elimination and the god-forsaken skirmish).

    [edit]
To clarify: revenge gain and revive speed are still troublesome even on equal gear. I'm not 108 (in fact my highest is 37) but the issues they present are "absolute", in the sense that even if both guys pop revenge on 3 blocks, it's still ******ed, despite being "fair".

Raider still has to land his attack, not be parryed or dodged, and then punished hard, especially by warden. Its class mechanics, which is a whole another dicussion.

Meaning yes, and im not asking to make it pure cosmetical. Even blue equip is fine, since you gain something at cost of something. Its high grade stuff that makes things wierd, dmg can go up to +80% under revenge if it counted correctly, and without major penalty.

Agreed again, but i'd like to play all modes with all characters insted of focusing on one because of the gear limitations. And without cheesing victory for daily with raider by droping 6th prestige of a cliff, because being a punching bag for 30 min made me not caring for any kind of honor.

Summing it up - since its started with gear, IMAO its not optimized, its affecting balance, and it is a big deal in current situation. Even if balance will be added, high lvl matches still be revenge-resurrect galore, since you can pick this stat additinaly to something you want and everyone will do so.
